How Were You Scouted: In his last year of high school in Korea he had been at a dance competition held by a Jellyfish Entertainment re-presenter, He hadn't really thought about becoming an idol before, he just wanted to dance but since he liked trying new things at least once he decided to try it out. So he went to the upcoming competition and he actually got scouted. His mother wasn't too happy about it but she still supported him.

Most of the time, Jiho has a blank expression on his face, claiming for it to look "cool." it did give him an unapproachable vibe, when someone comes up to him, they always expect for him to say very little and barely pay them any attention, but they're proved wrong every time he opens his mouth. when in a conversation, Jiho is very talkative and outgoing.

Jiho is protective over people close to him (his family, friends and members), he like seeing people around him happy and strong he doesnt like it when one of the members are stressed or sad it make him feel bad because something inside him make him think taking care of people close to him is his responsibility that why he's always protect them.

Jiho is really sharp he could notice if the person in front of him is lying by his body language he even didnt fall in any prank before because he always notice the small things (and weird things) that show the people around him are lying but sometimes he just play along with the prank acting as if he's unaware of the prank.

Also Jiho could be surprisingly random sometimes for an example when he was high school student his teacher asked the students to say a famous saying when it was Jiho turn he said "let's go to hawaii!" with a serious face ,Jiho is like this he could say or do something random suddenly.

Background:

Jiho is the only son of Kim Yeongja but when he was 3 yeard old his mother married a man named Shin Soohyun with a daughter and like Jiho mom who dead her husband the same happened to Mr. Shin, and now he has a younger sister that he's really close to her and he'll never let anyone touch her because he think she's still too young and innocent and they'll hurt his innocent sister or at least that what he think.

Jiho grew up in Gangnam people think usually just reach people live there but he was only a normal kid it just happened that his step-father have to live here because of his job, He had a habit of protecting people he like even if it was dangerous for him ,he always got into troubles because he was trying to protect his friends and sometimes really big troubles with school that his teacher call his mother , his mother always scolded him for acting like that.

When he was in 9th grade his family had to live out in Osaka because of his mother work he cried a lot that night he even thought of running away from the house because he didnt want stay away from his friends,who'll protect them? but his mother of course wont leave him here alone on Korea since almost all of their relatives live far away ,and surprisingly he made a lot of friends in Osaka because they all were nice to him they even teached him Japanese.

All of his friends there went to part time jobs after the school so he didnt have anything to do until the next day but then he thought he should improve his hobby (Dancing) for fun he only went to the dance school for fun but once he start dancing he couldnt get out anymore he loved dancing, after returning to Korea Jiho started going to a lot of competition and surprisingly he won most of them.​
