Minjae can be incredibly nice and she always has a smile on her face. Her easy going personality pleases most part
of people around her. She's always paying attention to everything, and she knows from the start when something is
wrong. She's funny and pleasant so isn't hard to be friends or have a nice conversation with her. She don't have any siblings but she's the oldest from the cousins which made her responsable for the little kids, so her sense of responsibility and protectiveness grew since she was a small. In school, she made the top three, even disliking math so much, she makes all efforts to be the best. The fist time she sung was on church since then she never stopped, she enjoys listening her voice echoing everywhere. When she studied on the US, she had friends who influenced her to different music styles, opera, bossa nova, r&b, hip hop and rap, she learned a lot from them.

background: Minjae was born on Rio and lived there till she was 4, but her family moved to Korea due her father's job, they lived there till Minjae's 9th birthday and then, moved to Tokyo where her parents reside right now. She spent a 2 years period in US studying and moved alone to Korea since the she was accepted in the company. She was supposed to have a younger sibling but due some complications her mother lost the baby. Her father don't like the idea of his only daughter becoming a idol, he would like mostly if she choose to be a doctor or a lawyer, but he tries to support her. Her mother is as pleasant person as her daughter, even after losing her child, she still being cheerful, so they always get along really well.

They like playing pranks on Sungmin and other people who's around, especially when people have to work or practice but they are too sleepy to do it, the little devils would come and try to make everyone fully awake again. how you met: Jinki was one of the firsts guys from the agency Minjae meet. She was kind of lost in the maze that the building was and he helped her to figure her way inside there. Say that was love at first sight is exaggerated but she's definitely fond to her sunbae. They became friends fast since their thoughts and personalities match well. 

interaction: They both can't bear coffee, so there are many tea "dates" when they aren't practicing, they frequently visit new tea houses around SME, it became a hobby and an excuse for being together. Since they both like to play, they're always fooling around, anyone can be their next prey. Be careful.There are few bickering moments between them but playful ones just to light up the mood when there's something awkward in the air. Jinki feels slightly uncomfortable when people ask about their relationship, not because he don't like her or anything like that, he just don't like when people try to invade his privacy. They are considerate as the "obvious couple" by the other people on the agency since they're really jealous towards each other, but their nescience about their feeling don't allow them to figure this out.

provenance: MinJae received a proposal to make the audition during the US period. She was always hearing how her
friends were doing well in their group, so she gave it a try. She made the audition in NY singing and rapping, her dance skills aren't too much improved but she got in.

regime: She's really strong minded so she was always trying to be the best at everything she tries. At the first, her fellows didn't tried to get closer to her because she was always to focused on training. With time, one by one, found out that she was actually a "not as cold person as we thought" type. She rapidly became one of the happiest and cheerful people among the trainees, always encouraging the oldest and the youngers. She's always the last to leave the dance practices since it's the thing she has most difficulty in.

why did you want to get into the project group?:

MinJae wants to prove to herself she can do her best. She wants to see people smiling because of her and want to give people hapiness. She, too, want to make her parents proud, and changes the perspective people have that idols are superficial beings.
