Style: Mi Yoo is very girly; she loves to wear dresses, skirts, and chiffon blouses that give her a cute, innocent, girly look.  As a high schooler, she just wears her school uniform to school, but outside of school, she could be wearing pink chiffon party dress with a white cardigan and a big bow on her hair. She often over-dresses herself for a typical day, gaining her lots of glances from people. However, when she has a bad day, she would go out with old gym uniform from school with a messy ponytail, looking like a completely different person.

Quiet/reserved - Mi Yoo prefers to listen than to talk. She believes in the Korean saying “If you stay quiet, you will at least be in the middle". She is also very shy around new people.

Book-smart - Although she never placed first place in any school-wide tests, her grades are within the top 5 in her homeroom. She does not have a specific interest in one subject, but just memorizes information from her text book because she has to. Just because she can name all the countries in Europe with their capitals, doesn't mean she has been to any of them. Her knowledge is only to an extant of a textbook and lacks experience.

Obedient- Although she doesn't consider any of her parents to be stricter than other Korean parents, obedience is a quality she grew up with. She will obey a person with authority without much question. Her obedience usually comes from the fear that she will get in trouble.

Gullible- Mi Yoo is very gullible. She generally takes everyone seriously and believes that people actually mean what they say. She has hard time knowing whether or not a person is joking or meaning something literally. Unlike how most people don't fall for the same trick twice, she thinks "since the first time was a joke, this time will be different" and falls for the joke again.

She does not like fried chicken and pork. She does not like the greasiness of either one. If she is eating fried chicken, it is probably chicken . She does not understand why people love fried chicken and samgyupsal so much. However, she likes beef cooked in any way.

Mi Yoo does not like carrots. Although she knows of its abundance of nutrients, she cannot eat them. She hates it fresh, she hates it more when it is cooked. She does not like the smell and the flavor. She can notice right away if there is carrot in her fruit smoothie. She does not like carrot cakes either.

Have a big fear of bees and any other insects. When she was little, she was stung by a bee at a flower garden where her mother bought flowers for her shop. It was found out that she was severely allergic to beestings and had to be taken to the emergency room. After that, even butterflies can make her scream like one of those screams from horror movies. She talks to herself when she is nervous or has conflictions. She talks very quietly so most people can't hear what she if saying or even if she is talking at all. People might think she is memorizing something or just moving for no apparent reason and not making any sound.

Trivia: She has few days a year when she is really really down. During this phase, she will not dress up at all (this is when she dresses down and looks like a totally diff. person) and doze off into lala land often. / When she quietly listens to people, she is listening very tentatively; although she doesn't comment a whole lot, she can summarize the whole conversation (her brother says she could be a spy). / She is very close with her brother; they are always together so sometimes they are mistaken for a couple.

Background: She is from a middle-classed family. Like most families in Korea, both parents work full-time and the children spend lots of time in afterschool classes. Before becoming a trainee, Mi Yoo also had to attend those classes, but now that she is a trainee, she needs to work extra hard in both training and studying. Her father was originally against her becoming a trainee, but after persuasion from MiYoo, Mi Yoo's mother and brother, and Tiffany's parents, he agreed as long as Mi Yoo keeps her good grades and gets into a decent college. Mi Yoo's father now pushes Mi Yoo's brother, Yoo Nam to study harder; Mi Yoo feels guilty, thinking that it is her fault that her brother is being forced even more to attend to hours of classes.

Both MiYoo and her brother are close to fluent in English because they visited Tiffany's family in America every summer since they were very young.

Smart- Song Joong Ki is not only a great actor but also attends a top college in Korea. He loves reading and often recommends books to close friends.

Sociable- This is one of his traits Mi Yoo admires the most. He is the mood maker when he is in a group. He can talk to anyone, everyone from babies to senior citizens.

Honest- He is one of the most honest people Mi Yoo has ever met. He will bluntly say things like "I don't like your hair today". Sometimes, his honesty hurts Mi Yoo's feelings, but it is one of the reasons why she is attracted to him. She knows that he is just an honest person, and his comments are not intended to hurt her.

How you met: She met him at a convenience store near SME, since his company is also in the same area, on the day she auditioned for SME. She was talking to herself in front of the store's refrigerator after her brother left for afterschool classes. JoongKi asked her to move over so he could get himself some water. She couldn't hear him talk to her and JoongKi thought she was ignoring him. He asked her a little bit more loudly, and she thought he was yelling at her and cried. He felt really really bad because he didn't mean to yell and she looked like she was in a deep distress. They ended up talking for next 2hrs (mostly Mi Yoo crying and JoongKi trying to cheer her up even though he had no idea what was making her so sad).

Interaction:

Ever since Mi Yoo's training started, they met at the convenience store ever lunch time, when both of them went there for a quick snack. They just say a polite "Hello" or "Have a good lunch", but are not really close. Mi Yoo has a crush on him, but she does not know how she should act.

Provenance: She auditioned when her older cousin Tiffany recommended her to audition. She was too timid to go audition by herself so she went with her brother, who played the piano accompaniment for her song. Her brother and mother, along with Tiffany are her biggest supporters. She auditioned without her father knowing. When he found out, he said that he will only allow her to become a trainee if she maintains her good grades in school and gets accepted to a good college.

Regime: Unlike how she was half-forced to study for schoolwork, she enjoys training. Some might think that she doesn't enjoy it though; Mi Yoo doesn't talk so much during training because she is shy and isn't much of a talker. However, she comes to every training session 10min. before everyone else and never misses any sessions.  Although she isn't the perfect student, especially in dance and rap, she finds it rewarding as she sees her progress. She finds it fascinating to be able to write raps about her feelings and move her body silently to express herself. She does not stay after to train by herself because she has a curfew and needs to keep her grades up in school.  She aims to train hard and debut and show her father that she can succeed in the music industry.

Why did you want to get into the project group? At first, it was just to test her potential as a singer. Mi Yoo heard compliments from her family members at family gatherings and at school for school choir but she wanted to know how good she really was in real world. Also, she wanted to make Tiffany proud. Tiffany is like a sister she never had and supported her in her musical pursuit. Mi Yoo trusts her 100% and since Tiffany wants Mi Yoo to try out for SME and she made it to SME, she will try hard to become a cousin Tiffany is proud of. Also, wants to show her father that studying isn't everything. Although she has been the good girl all her life, this is the only time she seriously rebelled against her father. Hopefully, if she succeeds as a singer, her brother will have a better chance of finding his true interest and not become forced to study day-n-night like she was forced to do.
