graphic desginers, help? :/

Long story short, i'm making a tutorial about cute posters and choosing the right background. Do you guys have any tips? :/ I'll credit you there :)

Umm. I usually use plain backgroubd and then go crazy w the pngs and what not OTL not an expert though. If the poster somehow require themed background like class or college, i have to get the colouring right OTL

Not an expert in cute posters, but I'm always careful to have a color pallette picked before making the poster, just so the colors match. :) Get what I mean?
