One of my favorite girl groups ever, Spica released an English song titled "I Did It." Before you assume the worst and cringe away at the word English take a listen first~

Not bad right?? I like it! I love it! The English is pretty good. It's clear, comprehendable, and it makes sense in a non-awkward way~ And to my knowledge they don't have any English speaking members. I guess their labelmate Eric Nam proof read the lyrics XP I respect them for taking such a bold move. There are groups out there who are more experienced in English and are at more popular companies. I know artists who tried and failed (cough... SNSD...cough) Most groups haven't even tried yet. Spica did it and they did it right.

Several people were commenting negatively on the video claiming they won't make it in America. They aren't showing enough skin. The video isn't good. The song isn't good.

Lies.

I love everything about it, concept and all and I believe they have the potential to be sucessful.

For those who don't know Spica they are a 5 member girl group who have been attracting attention lately for their strong vocals. While most groups have a couple slightly above average singers Spica have ALL amazing singers. Even the rapper can sing very well. And they sing in harmony perfectly. So perfect it gives me chills~ Spica is a special group to me because they deny the Kpop sterotype. Companies seem to think it's impossible to have a group with talented AND beautiful members. Spica is incredibly beautiful and incredibly talented :)
