I really want to smack people who're hating on them.

Like, do you have nothing better to do with your time?

Nothing in the first MV was even offending. If you look up the lyrics, the things in the MV were appropriate. 
They meant no harm and tbh, you're just looking for things to hate on. 

And why hate on them just because they debuted when F(X) went on hiatus? 

Wtf? 

Why does that even matter? They have a right to debut whenever they want. 
Don't get me wrong, I'm a fan of F(x) but I'm also a fan of Red Velvet and tbh, you're pretty immature to be hated on them for stupid reasons.

I had mixed feelings about their song but it has grown on me now. I'm watching now their first appearance in a radio show and they're really lovely and easygoing (except for Irene who's reaaally shy, she reminds me somehow of Krystal for that but she's still so lovable), you should watch it too ;)))
I'm a huge fan of f(x) but honestly I wasn't neither excited or hating on Red Velvet debuting, mostly because i rarely get interested in new groups after 2012 (and I say rarely because some still grabs my attention e.g. WINNER, if they'll ever debut though, BTS).
I'm waiting for a solid first album 'cause we know SM produces good album, despite all the s*** going on there. Hope they won't go for other cute songs in the album though, I feel like they can slay also something sassier and "girl power" style.

I feel like they would have received hate either way. That's how sadly works.
