Kyungsoo's drama ep 4, i'm confused

when Jaeyeol (Jo in sung) and Kangwoo (kyungsoo) ran together, Kangwoo disappeared, and it looked like Jaeyeol was talking with no one. Or did they just part away while running??

when kyungsoo called noona pretty she didn't even notice him and he was at that party when he was stabbed and such so i think he's just an imaginative character
