Recently in art lessons, we've all been branching ourselves out more.  I've recently gotten into "video art" and have 'internet stumbled' upon Nam June Paik!

His artist practice is very interesting and the media he works with is quite diverse (which will take a whole lot of time for me explore). For me, the way that he has put everyday electronic media into art and says that is not a sculpture, site-specific artwork or painting is pretty well... mind-blowing. Like, what else could it be? It's made me question whether I can point at a TV of some sort and call it "ART!"

Through art, I feel as if I've become a teeensy bit more philosophical and have begun to question things in the world. I feel that we can manipulate ready made objects and call it art because after all, what is art?

Anyway, I believe that's all what I'm thinking for now unless my mind is rampant with imaginiation once again. ♥
