Help

Guys, I have a question to ask

i wanted to become a singer at yg

but do you need personal experiences or no?

i already read most if the common stuff like they will pay your school stuff, anyone is acceptable, either online or mail it, eyc.

Im still wondering if you need to go to a performing arts high school, or at least perform, something like that.

From what I've seen from idols, it seems like the majority have and work their butts off to be a singer

That's my question, do I need it or not?

If you have raw talent, then no you don't need anything else.
Do you have experience singing? Have you ever auditioned for anything before?
How old are you? Are you Asian? Can you handle harsh critique?

Consider this too: YG is probably going to be putting out a girl group next year.
That means the next one won't be for a couple years at least.

I have a friend that made it through the first round of auditions for YG.
They made it clear to him that he should be leaner (he is very muscular) by the next audition.
They also asked if he would drop his studies and move to Korea to train full time.
He realized that he would rather get his degree first in case the acting didn't pan out as well as hoped.

YGE auditions are easy at first. Well, I know someone who got accepted with her online audition but when she went to Korea to audition formally, she was rejected saying she lacks this and that. I guess, the experience thing is quite a need but not necessary. If you know you have what it takes, then go on and try! :)
