Hello there,

Today is the birthday of the former South African president Nelson Mandela. He was not the president of my country but he was a role model of how a president should be. He sacrificed his life and even went to prison for his country. I believe that all the presidents in the world should take a page out of his book. If that were the case, we will surely have the biggest dream of them all, WORLD PEACE, come true.

I wish he was my country’s president maybe we, as a nation, will not be where we are today.

Mandela is the man who talked about equality between all humans regardless of the color of their skin, religion and background. He talked about love and loving one another. 

He is the man who talked about the importance of education

He talked about poverty and overcoming it.

And he talked about the basic human rights 

He talked about some many more issues and topics, that we can take as lessons and apply in our daily life. (if you care to know, simply google his name and you will get an endless list of quotes)

Well what would that great man do if he were still alive today, with all the horrible things happening around the world and especially in the Middle East?

What would he do, if he saw people killing each other because of their religion and ethnicity?

What would he do if he saw all the innocent kids getting killed and blown into pieces because of the adults’ wars?

What would he do if he saw kids being robbed of their education?

What would he do if he saw that some people were being robbed of their basic human rights?

What would he say if he saw all of these things happening? 

I know that this might be a gloomy post but I just had to let it out.
