Riku is very aggressive in battle. If you’re a bit too slow, she won’t tolerate it and most likely going to defeat your Pokemon in a flash. The girl is always seeking the thrill of a battle. Strong opponent excites her and she will be more serious than ever. When she’s excited over a battle, Riku will put on her headphone, saying it blocks away any unwanted noises and distractions. She is quick to analyze the opponent’s weaknesses and always claim that type-match up wasn’t her style—as long as her Pokemon is strong, she believe anything could happen. Riku mostly cool headed in battle but once frustrated and or angry, she ignored all the tactics in the book and just going all-out. The result could be either a total annihilation on the other side or defeat because she had put her guard down. In a fair battle and she had lost, Riku will deemed the victor worthy of her time and in most scenario, she will demand a rematch every time they see each other again.
