Ok, so SMent just released yesterday the teaser for their new boy groups [take note of the plural], and is it just me, or is KAI actually giving a good first impression?

KAI, or Kim Jongin to be exact, is the first member of EXO to be revealed to the public. He is also the first to have his pictures released.

A lot of SMtowners/fans noticed immediately that he had quite a resemblance to SHINee's TAEMIN, TVXQ's MAX Changmin, JYJ's Jaejoong, or even a mixture of all three [sorry guys, but I gotta agree on this one. The kid kinda' does look like 'em.].

They also mentioned that he had a similar dance style  with Taemin and Super Junior's Eunhyuk [this one, I definitely disagree. The dance style is totally different. And that's from someone who's seen tons of dances and dancers practice.].

At the mention of Taemin, fans also found out that Kai was also good friends with SHINee during trainee days, and is one of Taemin's best friends in the company.

Seeing  the teaser for myself, the dark atmosphere holds that sense of mystery and suspense. The water splashing though, is too overused [It looks cool, but come on.].

Kai dances to a song which seems to be sung by Yoo Young Jin, the GENIUS composer of almost ALL of SMent's hit songs. If you guys don't know him, he's the other voice besides KRY in Sorry, Sorry - Answer, and he's the one that sings Beautiful Girls for SNSD.

The video doesn't last for even two minutes, yet it left me in awe. That kid surely has talent. Now, SM hasn't spoken a soul about when the next teaser will be released, so I'm stuck replaying Kai's video over and over again. Not that I don't like replaying it though. ^^

The thing is, it's only been one teaser, and I alredy have a strong feeling that EXO will be quite above the others in terms of uniqueness.

Some things that you probably don't know about EXO or KAI [found as a top comment on the teaser] :

"SM did not ''copy'' Boyfriend Water Floor teaser, SHINee did it in Ring Ding Dong already, lol.

-The car and lamp post is NOT in MR. TAXI, look closer.

-The song is not their title song, it's a song composed and sung by Yoo Young Jin.

Kai = Kai

-Kai, 17 male, 182cm. Specializes in various dancing techniques such as ballet, hip-hop, lock and jazz etc

-EXO-K will have 7 Korean members

-EXO-M will have 5 Chinese members

Kai was mentioned in The SHINee World album "Thanks To" section.

I really don't know where they got these info, but there it is. Can't SM just stop the torture and release them already? *fangirling liek a boss*
