Sujeong is epitome of the perfect wife, daughter, daughter-in-law, woman, etc. Sujeong is considered as quite wise because she has a love for reading and writing, or literature in general. Sujeong also likes mathematics and figuring out chances of probability as she uses that to consider if the decisions she makes will work out or not. She is very sophisticated as she acts quite mature for her age and focuses on important priorities she has rather than fooling around. Whenever she gets into a dilemma, she can endure the consequences, and she solves the problem no matter how long or how hard it is, hence making her labeled as meek. Sujeong is very kind and respectful and she helps the elders and any servants in general finish a hard task. Although she was raised and spoiled with love, attention, care, and luxury, Sujeong can still sympathize for the less fortunate. She sometimes takes care of the servants' children to help the servants finish their work faster or rest for a bit, making Sujeong seem quite considerate. 

Although she has many good traits, everyone has imperfections, and so does Sujeong. Sujeong may look strong, but a person can only endure so much. Sujeong is actually very weak and can be hurt by just hearing insults thrown at her, as she has a fear of being called 'useless' and not being the role model her parents want her to be. Sujeong is also oblivious of the things that sneak around her, as she doesn't like to be nosy and just focuses on improving her own life. Sujeong can be so oblivious that she could be totally unaware that a sinister maid might be able to poison her food right in front of her face or a captive from war might be able to escape the dungeon and kidnap Sujeong as bait. So, if you get the idea, she's pretty oblivious.

FAVORITES. flowers, strolls in the garden (or any long strolls in general), long handwritten and sincere letters, romantic stuff, music, homemade rice cakes, happy endings, rain, nighttime, quietness, pretty silk hanboks, etc.

HATES. insects (mostly flies), concubines, brothels, female "entertainers", jewelry, liars, hypocrites, ruckus, two-faced people, things involved with harming innocent bystanders, etc.

HABITS. usually bites her lower lip or inner cheek when nervous, goes on a long stroll around the Royal Garden when she wants to clear her mind, drinks honey and lemon tea at night to prevent nightmares, usually braids her hair every morning, often goes on outings with Joo Wol and Lu Han, plays with the servants' children in her free time, makes art on handkerchiefs by sewing designs on them as a recreational activity, etc.

HOBBIES. cooking, reading, walking, gardening, sewing, etc.

FEARS. disappointing her parents, seeing her mother cry, being labeled as 'useless', lies, illness, war, dying flowers, stealing, etc.

FUN FACTS. first met Joo Wol when she was 2 because Joo Wol picked a flower from her family's garden when the Ban family visited the Han family, met Lu Han when she was 4 together with Joo Wol because Lu Han caught them sneaking into the Royal Garden, got lost in the Royal Palace 7 times before because it was huge and she forgot the directions, she met Yi-En when she was 14 and fell head over heels for him since then, hates and loves the color brown at the same time because it reminds her both of soil and dog poop, she thought people who wrote flower or butterfly designs on their clothing were evil because they trapped living things into their clothing until she turned 8, has seen both Joo Wol and Lu Han bare of clothing before because they used to bathe together until they all turned 10, etc.

Q. HOW DO YOU FEEL BEING YOU?
A. Believe it or not, I feel extremely lucky to be myself. Even if the whole world doesn't agree that my life is a life that would not be considered a "good life", I think I have the best life out there, that my life is actually worth living for. Yes, women might gossip, saying that Yi-En doesn't love me, that I stole my best friend's lover, but I didn't. All I did was get accepted to marry the love of my life, even if he doesn't think the same way, and become Crown  Princess. I did no harm, but people can think otherwise, because they'll eventually come to the term that Han Sujeong is still Han Sujeong, the 'Perfect Maiden' in Joseon, the woman who everybody admired, the woman who girls would kill for. In reality, I don't think anyone deserves this. To be faced with the dilemma of accepting that your loved one doesn't love you, and never will. If the Crown  Princess was anyone else, they'd give up. I, on the other hand, believe that I should and I will keep fighting. I will show the Yi-En that I am the one, the one for him. Even if that's the last thing I do, I will make sure he accepts me as his wife, the one whom he treasures and loves deeply. I want nothing else than to be loved by him, and to hear those three words come out of his lips. That's all I want. That's definitely the luckiest part of being me– that I actually have a chance to get him to love me genuinely, for who I am.

Q. IF YOU ARE GIVEN THE OPPORTUNITY TO SWAP LIVES WITH SOMEBODY ELSE, WOULD YOU TAKE IT OR NOT? WHY? IF YES, WHO WOULD YOU SWAP LIVES WITH?
A. If I have to answer honestly, I would say both yes and no. Yes, because there is a human being who I envy, and very much so. If I could, I want to swap with Ban Joo Wol, not only because she gets loved by Yi-En, which I would gladly do anything and everything for, but then, if we switched our lives, she, too would benefit. She'd get the one thing that she would gladly die for. Just like me, she'd get loved by the one she loved; she'd get loved by Lu Han. It would benefit us both...but the thought that if we did swap, it might hurt both the boys, Yi-En and Lu Han, which brings me to one more answer, which is no. No, because that would mean that I might hurt the ones I love, Joo Wol, Yi-En, Lu Han, Mother, Father, Queen, King, everyone, including the servants could get hurt, and I would never want that to happen. If I say yes, that would also mean that I'm giving up. And I really hate giving up. Especially if I have to give up having a chance to get loved by Yi-En and also giving up being his lawful wife. Even though it sounds greedy, there is only one person and thing I will never give up for the life of me, and it's Yi-En and our marriage. So, in conclusion, I'd have to officially say no to your proposal.

Q. WHAT DO YOU THINK JOSEON AND THE WORLD NEEDS TO BECOME BETTER?
A. Joseon and the world? I am not one to meddle in political affairs, but I believe the world needs to get rid of envy and greed and become one big family. Not only would that benefit Joseon, it would benefit other communities all around the world. It's easier to think like this; less greed and envy means less hate. Less hate means less fights. Less fights mean less wars. Less wars mean more trade expansions and alliances. More trade expansions and alliance mean more money. More money means happiness, that is, for most people in the world. So, in conclusion, I think the world needs to get rid of envy and greed, mostly greed.

Q. WHAT DO YOU THINK IS THE WORST ERROR ANY HUMAN COULD MAKE?
A. The worst error a human being could make? I believe that thinking irrationally and acting before thinking is the worst error any human being could make. Thinking irrationally and acting before thinking are equally horrifying, because they lead to rash decisions, bad decisions, however you want to call it. They both will make you regret acting out that certain thought or action, and it can haunt you for the rest of your lives, and I've heard from Mother and Father that some people get scarred for life because of it. It is like stepping off the edge of a steep cliff, and willingly, kind of like suicide, I guess?

Q. WHAT IS YOUR OPINION ABOUT LOVE AND LIFE?
A. My opinion on love? I think love is one of the best and one of the worst things in life. Love can hurt so much that if feels like you're just laying there, stabbed, hurt, dying, screaming, but no one can hear you. However, optimistically, love can also be a painkiller that makes you want nothing more than to be with the love of your life, not even needing luxuries such as money or honor or respect. Love is a powerful feeling, and how it makes you feel depends on the one you love. They can either make you feel like the happiest person in the world, or make you feel numb and unwanted. As for life, I feel the same way. It can be joyous and bright  or it can be sorrowful and unhappy, depending on the path you take and the choices you make. Love and life depend on you and you only, and they both are either your happiest dreams come true, or the worst nightmares you could ever live in.

Q. FINAL QUESTION. WOULD YOU DIE FOR THE SAKE OF SOMEBODY ELSE? IF YES, WHO WOULD YOU DIE FOR? WHY?
A. I...as much as I want to answer yes, I absolutely am unsure. If I die for the sake of someone else, I am giving up myself for a person who I probably think I know everything about, but truth to be told, no one knows everything about one person in 100% upmost knowledge. Even if you think you know everything, you do not. People hide secrets, things they would rather die for than reveal. People lie, making a fool of all of us and making us think they're the best human beings on the planet. Even if I do want to put myself in harm for loved ones, I seriously cannot even express how much uncertainty I would be placing myself into. You'll have many thoughts, some of them being, 'Can I really give myself up for them? Would they have done the same? Do they treasure me just as much as I treasure them?' and I, for one, cannot certainly say that I can sacrifice myself for someone who might not do the same. I'm sorry if this sounds selfish, but I have to say no.

 RELATIONSHIP. Yi-En and Sujeong's relationship is quite hostile, considering the fact that Yi-En has taken Sujeong's pure intentions in the wrong way and despises her for making his parents crown her as Crown Princess (to-be). Sujeong is at lost for words and cried silently to herself when Yi-En harshly told her that she was just a piece of trash that he's forced to marry and that he'll never love her, considering the fact that he is madly in love with Sujeong's dearest best friend, Joo Wol, who is engaged to Yi-En's own older brother, Lu Han, the First Prince. Sujeong says nothing and doesn't bother to distract him from Joo Wol, but instead she just tries her best to be the best wife for him. Sujeong silently endures his harsh words and cruel actions, and just watches him from afar, wishing for him to be happy, while Yi-En tries his best to win over Joo Wol's heart.

PERSONALITY. Yi-En may be harsh to Sujeong, but in fact, he's the total opposite of it. Yi-En is a sweet boy that is the man of every girl's dreams. He is sweet, gentle, caring, protective, loving, kind, and respectful. He is like the male version of Sujeong, and it's not doubt that they're a match made in heaven, but Yi-En doesn't want to think so. Yi-En has been in love with Sujeong's best friend, Joo Wol, ever since he's laid his eyes on her for the very first time since he was 12, and she just so happened to be playing in the Royal Garden with Lu Han and Sujeong. Yi-En refuses to believe the fact that maybe they aren't supposed to be together and that Sujeong's the one for him. He rensues to believe that in a world so big, there's not room for Joo Wol and him to be together.

MEETING. Yi-En saw Sujeong the first time when he was 12, and she was 11, on the very same day he saw Joo Wol, when the girls were playing with Lu Han. Yi-En silently watched from afar as the trio played together, smiles on their faces. He was both angry and happy. Angry, because he was too busy learning how to be the next King in order for him to have free time to also make friends like Lu Han and play with them in his palace. Happy, because at least his older brother didn't have to have worries and could play freely. The time when Sujeong first met Yi-En was when she was 14 and he was soon turning 15. It was Lu Han's birthday and every noble's family had been invited, and the Han's and Ban's were special guests. They were both awkward at first, but they grew closer starting that night. Until they found out they were betrothed and Yi-En turned a blind eye and cold shoulder at Sujeong.
