jihye was born in busan. however, after six month living in busan with her grandparents, they moved to incheon. incheon was cool; she made some friends and their days there couldn't be better. they lived in a modern-looking mansion. at the age of four, jihye's family welcomed a new family member. his sister. at the age of seven, jihye's personality worsen; she became more rigid towards her wishes even when it was worthless and convincing her, trying to change her mind didn't even worth a shot. she's that rigid.
however, when jaehyung was thirteen, it was a shocking thing that his parents was having a financial problem. their mercedes benz car was taken by 'a bunch of scary-looking tough brusque men', and his family constantly asked him to stray away from being outside. the scariest incident he encountered is a group of brusque tough males was chasing him (she thought they were so she screamed, 'i have stds' to stop them from chasing her, but oh well, it didn't work.). turns out it was the loan sharks.
to get away from the loan sharks, jihye's family moved to his cousin's house in a district nearby gangnam. it was fun being there; after a few months there, jihye and his family moved into their own house nearby his cousin's (walking distance lol.) well, although they didn't live like royalties now (but still she only uses branded things and fancy cars) ; she still was grateful.
jihye got into music; thanks to her cousin. when she was living with her cousin, her cousin was obsessed with music; and jihye thought that it was worth a shot to try and hear them. she was fascinated, well, flabbergasted actually. not that jihye never listened to music, no, but the fact that she heard good music made her wanted to try being one. 
jihye started auditioning at the age of sixteen; but lady luck wasn't siding her as she failed auditions, one by one. jihye hated it. she was on the verge to be giving up her dreams until she went to seven seasons and auditioned, and when she got accepted, that was the happiest moment on her life.
