She has no problem calling herself fabulous, because hell, she totally is. There is no denying that she has an awe-inspiring stage presence, and can absolutely knock you off your feet if she wants to. She really idolizes Beyonce as well, and her life dream is to meet her.
✿ Outrageously outrageous, yo; This chika is actually kinda crazy. She's very spontaneous, and very random. She loves making plans out of the blue, and doing things out of the ordinary. Normal life bores her, so she does her best to always keep things exciting and new. People sometimes call her overwhelming or "too much", but whatever. Her friends will admit, their lives would be boring as hell without her in it.
✿ She's a ma-ma-ma-ma-machine; Ara can go for hours without sleep... Sometimes. She often stays up late at night either practicing or wasting time on tumblr. So she'll stay up till maybe 3am and wake up then again at 6am. Three hours of sleep a day is not good for ANYONE, but Ara can live off of it for a good week or so. However, this has it's bad effects on her. After two weeks of little to no sleep and being totally fine, she suddenly passes out or becomes really ill/sick and needs a good twelve hours of sleep to rejuvinate herself. Jin and Xiumin and her members worry for her, and tell her to get more sleep for her own good, but this girl is a machine. Nonstop until she powers out.

She's horrible at every video game ever, but that won't stop her from trying. Xiumin makes fun of her for it, but she gives zero s. "Maybe I died on PURPOSE, Xiumin. It's part of my... er... technique."

But most of all, she loves being able to tell people what to do.

Life Background: As the youngest of all her siblings, she was always the most babied and the most picked on member of the family. Her parents were always unreasonably protective of her while the rest of her sisters (only a few years older) got to do what they pleased. Of course, they loved all of their kids equally, but as Ara was the youngest, they were most careful of her. How you met?: STORY TIME~!
During training, Jin was struggling during dance lessons. The teacher/instructor said he "had no time to work with someone so helpless at dancing" (harsh much?), so Jin had to ask around the class if anyone could teach him. Nobody would, because they all saw him as a stupid, useless, lowlife trainee. SO, he was permitted to go check out other companies for help. He went specifically for SM Entertainment because they had produced some of the best dancers of all time (Taemin, Kai, Yunho, etc). He asked the top students in dance at SM, which at the time were Ara and some other guy. Ara jumped at the opportunity to work with him, not because she thought he was "cute" or anything, but because he seemed genuinely nice and she was excited to have the opportunity to meet people outside SM Entertainment for once. So, they began working after hours together, as Ara turned Jin from an awkward little with two left feet, so someone who could hold his own on the dance floor. After a few months of the two of them working together, Jin took the initiative and decided to ask her out on a "date.. AS FRIENDS!" She accepted, because she's naive as and actually thought it was a "friendly" date. Nothing romantic ended up happening (yet), but they continued to go out on "friend dates" for the next year or so. They were super comfortable with each other, they could talk about literally anything and it wouldn't be awkward or strange in any way. Talk about friendzoning.
Later, however, Ara began taking note of Jin's "attractions". She began noticing how CLOSE they stood/sat when they were together, how his face lit up when he saw her enter the room, how he would do small/subtle things for her (like make her soup when she was feeling sick, or giving her his jacket if he was cold) out of pure selflessness and caring, how he would complement her at any given opportunity no matter how often she told him she detested compliments, and how he seemed to get more and more handsome as the years went by (OOOOOOOOH SCANDALOUS). But he hesitated, because he was scared that maybe she didn't want to, or that maybe it would make their friendship awkward, or that it would insult her, and all these crazy thoughts that were running through his head. And OF-FREAKING-COURSE, Ara was still a naive little so she just stood there speechless and confused as . She then decided to do what she does best- ignore logic and go with the feel- and she raised herself up on her toes and kissed the flustered, nervous teenage boy. And ohhhhhhhhhhh <3333 it was so cute! It was a very innocent kiss, as this was both of their first kisses (AW). Ara could swear to jesus that someone set off fireworks in her brain and released a swarm of butterflies in her stomach. Like, it was cray. When they released each other, they STILL had no words. After standing in silence for a few moments, Ara just pulled Jin's body close to her's and hugged him. It was a sweet hug, the perfect way to end the evening. They both enjoyed every second of it. Since Ara's parents were out of town, and the two of them didn't realize that a kiss implied that they were more than friends, Ara invited Jin in to watch Disney movies and drink hot coco. Bestfriend: Xiumin
This buttface is her partner in crime. She met him, of course, during trainee days. One day in February, a half hour or so before SM's monthly progress examinations, a bunch of the trainees in the dance category were sitting in the waiting room silently, scared out of their minds. Amongst these trainees were Xiumin, Ara, and a few others (like Kai, Sehun, etc). At this point, Ara hardly knew anyone. Most of her friends were in the rap category, or had been cut from the company. So she sat silently as well, until the quiet began ticking her off. The way everyone around her was so silent and suspenseful and nervous just pissed her off to no end. So she stood up (already causing a few heads to turn), took out her phone, and began blasting some LMFAO and dancing along. She heard a "YESSSS" from across the room, followed by a chubby-cheeked lil Xiumin running up and starting to dance with her. Ara was already thrilled that someone had come up and join her, and when she looked around, all the other trainees had began dancing as well. Typical of dance students, of course. Finally, things were becoming more comfortable, and people seemed less nervous. Xiumin and Ara were jamming out, having a blast for a good few minutes until an SM representative stepped into the room and everyone suddenly silenced again. The music was still awkwardly ringing through Ara's phone, so she scrambled to turn it off. The SM Rep looked at her disapprovingly, and then proceeded to call names for " monthly examinations". As people slowly began draining out of the room, Ara and Xiumin were wrapped up in conversation. They talked like they had known each other for years, but in reality only for an hour at this point. Eventually, they both were called and did their exams, and their friendship skyrocketed. The two of them spent SOO much time together, they were like two peas in a pod. They would choreograph funny kkap dance routines together, belt/sing old 60s disco songs in Xiumin's dorm after practice, stay up late at night watching movies and playing wierd games like "Cards against humanity" and "Twister Extreme Edition", and perform silly pranks on some of the other trainees. Not only do they have a blast together, but they also know eachother's personalities like the backs of their hands. They know all the details about what makes them tick, what they hate/love, their deepest darkest secrets, and more. They give each other advice, and if they were to call anyone in a time of need, it would be each other. They hug a lot, because Ara says Xiumin is "squishy" uwu. They even celebrate their birthdays together, because they both have birthdays in March.
