Where do i even begin with this group?

In all honesty, I think this new concept and change is great and Boyfriend can pull it off flawlessly~ Through this, and a company change, I do believe they will gain more fame, hopefully, not just for their looks, but talent and who they are as people; because those that are Best friends know how underrated Boyfriend has been although they have so much to offer. Also, about the album; the fact that it's called Obsession is just perfect and defines my entire life. I'm someone who obsesses really easily so this album really speaks to me lol (but seriously) And the two songs (so far that i've heard, haven't heard the others >.<) truly do go along with the theme

OBSESSION

oh lord, this song and music video and concept. I just... die a little everytime I hear it and see it. I am obsessed (just... UGH I CANT GET ENOUGH. And the concept itself I really like. Personally, I love Peter pan yet have never heard the original story; same with a lot of fairytales. They're actually more interesting than the ones I grew up with:P So using that story in the music video definitely made me love it even more. This really brought out the talent of the rappers of the group the most, in my opinion and the boys' dancing~<3

From what i could understand, Peter exiles the Lost Boys or children in general, that grow up, from Neverland. Now, Boyfriend either got old or they figured Peter was going a bit insane and weren't wanted but they wanted to take Wendy, who was too in love with Peter to leave. So overtime, Boyfriend hide out, seeking revenge and to rescue Wendy. The twins create a bomb, Hyunseong trains himself, Minwoo rereads their story, and Donghyun remembers the past. Minwoo soon reveals from the book that Peter would eventually kill them and Donghyun decides to go after him. They return to what I assume is Neverland and set up the bomb. They find Wendy and try to take her with them, however Peter shows up and puts the bomb up to Wendy. He pushes her and the bomb explodes, killing her but failing to kill Boyfriend. Outraged and still seeking revenge, Boyfriend become the pirates in Peter pan, always as his enemy. 

ALARM

This song is quite special, actually. It's not that I can relate to the certain situation, but the pain. The emotion and pain they show in the song, lyrics, and performance is something I can relate to. The music video and song are both touching and mature (not the naughty way, as in grown up). Another way it's special is that it is the first Boyfriend song to make me cry. When I first heard it, I was only a bit teary but I did not cry. It was not until I saw the showcase on Youtube. I was completely fine that day, in a pretty happy mood seeing them perform. Then they started performing Alarm.  I just started crying after a minute or so. Like, legitimate crying. I have hiccups of breathing when I cry really badly and it got to that point. I didn't notice it at first, then I got worried about myself. I was confused. But after a few hours, I figured out why. The amount of emotion they put into the song is just heartbreaking and it seems as if they all experienced the pain before either one, unforgetable time or multiple times.

Moreover, how far they've come. To be honest, they were nobodies. Hardly anybody knew who they were. If you have seen Wonderboy, you should know that the boys had a mission as to see who would be able to be recognized as an idol by random people in the street . And literally NO ONE recognized them. That really sadened me. Those emotions plus the pain from the song seem to have been too much for me. (actually tearing up a little lol) But now as I see them so successful and their growing fame, it makes me proud to say I'm a fan. I knew someone who was a fan from the beginning and even a little before (like myself) who gave up on them. She said that they won't be famous and realizes how "untalented" they are. Another thing that irritated me. What I told her was to give them a chance but she wasn't having any of it. She gave up so easily and they haven't even really started at the time. But now, after 3 years and seeing how much they've grown and improved, I would've regretted my decision if I was her. So my burst of tears were of sorrow and joy.

I'm so proud of Boyfriend and I am a proud Girlfriend (when they called their fans that ^^) and Best Friend
