BACKGROUND Indie was born on June 21, 1992 in Chicago, Illinois to a high school basketball coach and interior designer. She has 1 older brother. Indie is daddy’s girl whilst her brother, Tristan is mama’s boy. As a child, she was pampered and loved by his father but her mother, on the other hand, they’re not in good terms. Her mother would always pressure Indie to be a good daughter and such. When she was 6, Her father enrolled her into a dance, vocal and acting class. Her mother is apparently in rage towards her husband because she doesn’t want Indie to be exposed in Singing, dancing and acting area. She wants Indie to be exposed in arts and become a interior designer like her.
From nursery to high school, Her parents enrolled both Indie and Tristan into a prestigious private school in Chicago since they have enough money to sustain all the expenses they need. She joined numerous clubs in high school but quitted some clubs but permanently stayed at the Drama Club and Tennis Club. She learned Tennis because of her dad. Tennis is one of her dad’s hobby and everytime they have quality time together, They always play tennis. When she was 19, She asked her parents if she can go to Korea to audition and become a trainee. Both of her parents disagreed and she ended up getting scold by her mother but that didn’t stop Indie from chasing her dreams to be a Kpop Idol. She begged her father and on the latter, her father agreed in one condition, She’ll bring Tristan with her. She agreed and both of her and Tristan flied to Korea, just leaving a goodbye note to their Mother because they know, Her mother can’t do anything anymore. Indie and Tristan found an apartment. Indie heard that Loen Entertainment was holding an audition so she decided to audition and luck was on her side because she got accepted while her brother got scouted by a modeling company. LIKES

INTERACTION Lay likes to tease Indie a lot and such. They're the cutest best friends you've ever seen. They're comfortable with each other and acts sweet towards each other. HOW WILL THEY MEET They met through Chen. Chen invited Indie out for lunch since both of them have no busy schedule. Lay, Tao and Xiumin tagged along with Chen and they don’t have any idea that Indie was coming. When Indie arrived at the restaurant where she will meet up with Chen, She was surprised to see Chen with three other guys. Chen explained he can’t do anything since Lay, Tao and Xiumin forced him to let them come with him. Indie said it’s fine. During the entire Lunch, Indie was being friendly and warm towards the guys but Lay brushed her off all the time.
Indie just kept it to herself how she hates Lay being snobbish the entire time. He mistook Indie’s sweet and friendly nature as a form of flirting. Indie heard about what Lay thinks of her and it made her fume in rage. What she hates the most is judgmental people. She confronted Lay with tears escaping her eyes, saying that it’s wrong to judge people’s actions. She slapped lay and walked out. Lay felt bad so he decided to chase Indie right away before Music Banks starts. Lay found her near the vending machine. He apologized sincerely and offered Indie that he’ll treat her coffee the next day and even suggested to start all over again.
