You guys.
omg.

So, this week and last have been such a whirlwind; I've been so busy it's cray. I just recently took my Math regents this past Tuesday, and although I am pretty confident with myself that I passed, I'm still going to go back on the 20th to take the common core regents which, if I get a higher score on that test, it will count as my final grade rather than the 2014 algebra regents.

On Wednesday I took my Science "hands-on" portion of the final. That wasn't as intimidating as Math, though. Just epicenters, rocks and earthquakes. I know for a fact that that part went a lot better than the written portion is going to go; earth science, or as my art teacher calls it, "dirt science", is not my forte.

Next week I've got my social final on the 10thand 11th(which just as a self reminder I have a reformation essay due on Tuesday) and my Spanish and ELA finals are both on the 12th through the 13th. So call me a study-bug because all I've been doing is sticking my nose in every review book I have. The only thing I have to fall back on is the ELA make-up test on the 16th, but ELA is definitely my strong-suit, so I won't be needing that.

As far as non-academic related things go, this month, I will be sending in auditions. Yes, you heard me, auditions. I'll be sending them to as many companies as I can get my hands on email addresses'(if you guys know of any form, email, etc. of some companies, please don't be shy and share below). Since I live in the US, and I have no means of transportation, I have to send them all through email. If you guys want to hear my story behind all of this, just tell me. I'd love to write it all down.

My grandfather is in the hospital, so I've been traveling a lot to my grandmother's house and to his room in holding. He has cancer, or had cancer rather, in his nose, and they've taken out as much as they can; the rest is going through countless radiation treatments. But, other than that, he is almost ninety - he can barely walk and has the memory of a peanut. It really makes me wish I had written down his time when he was in the Marine Core, or even just his days in general. Both him and my grandmother were born in the 1920's, so they really lived through it all. On his side of the family, though, they live way past the doctors expectations (no matter how much they smoked or drank in the past).

And before I try to lighen up the mood here, I want to mention my long loved cat, Mickey Mouse, who just recently was hit. Yesterday, in fact. I'm still in shock, I still can't believe it, so I should be having a break down any time now. And since I love editing photos and wanted to make something in his glorious memory, I made the photo below to post to Facebook (because I still don't know how to full work instagram):

On a happier note, I should have the last two one-shots I have left requested done this weekend. I really want to get them done before next week when I'm really going to get hit in the face with school work. So, yeah, be on the lookout for those.

Music of the moment has been all over the place. Every morning I've been waking up and listening to Tightrope by Janelle Monae, the Oliver Nelson Remix, credit to Claire Marshall for introducing me to this song for the awesome nail polish video that featured it (link). I've also really been digging some of the newer songs that have come out, some being B.A.P's new single 어디니? 뭐하니? /  Where are you? What are you doing? (link). It's such a light and carefree song, and although I do love their more badass songs like One Shot, Badman, and of course the classic Warrior, their more happy songs really brighten my mood; so much so, I used to have Crash as my morning alarm. And for one more, Yuna Kim (Ft. MFBTY)'s new single Without You Now is pretty fudging addictng (link).

And for my quote of the day, I really loved the one that one of my girls from my HS gymnastics team used for her Senior Quote;

"People don't tell you who you are.
You tell them."
- Serena Van Der Woodsen, Gossip Girl

Have an amazing day/night/afternoon or whatever time it is where you are. And always remember, when in doubt, just smile.
