personality:
Taeyoung is actually like the opposite of her older brother that's why people are always amused when they see the two of them interact. Unlike her brother, she's actually hard working and also has a perfectionist side. She always gives her best in anything and she wants her works to be as flawless as possible. She can't be at ease unless she knew that she finished her works well. With this attitude, she sometimes forget to take a proper care of herself. She even restricted herself to have too much fun whenever there's still tasks she needs to accomplish.

She's responsible as well and maybe that's also a reason why she gives her all on every work she has at hand. Besides, after her father's death she always helped her mother in doing things especially the chores around the house. These taught her how to be responsible and matured on such an early age. Also, she also developed this sense that she has to look after the people important to her. Between Taeyoung and Taemin, she actually acts like the older sibling and not the little sister. At school, she also have this strong responsibility. When no one's volunteering for a certain task, she tends to volunteer herself. This girl is also stubborn. Once she decided on something, that's final. It would take one hell of an effort just to make her change her mind.

She also easily gets irritated easily when she's doing something especially if it's serious. She hates getting distracted the most. But despite this, she tries her best to hold her irritation in. She tries her best to endure it. She'll never say a word about it instead you can see it in her expression (especially on her eyes.) Once she's at her limit, she will never throw a tantrum or suddenly scream out. Instead, she would quietly walk out the scene before she could say something that would make things worse. During a misunderstanding, she will handle things calmly since getting mad will only make her think irrationally.

Despite all that, she's not really scary and all that. She actually has a friendly side and she's a kind person too. Just don't get on her bad side. But if you're looking for a friend who would go to a crazy wild party with you, she's not the one you're looking for. With her personality, she knows how to sort out her priorities and hanging out is not really part of the most important ones.

Taeyoung is not good in showing her real feelings. She's not used on saying her feelings out loud since it's definitely awkward for her to express it. That's why she's not also comfortable with skinship and all those overflowing sweetness. She tends to keep her feelings on her own. And she's also like that when it comes on her problems. Whenever she has one, she'll do her best to hide it. She doesn't want other people to be burdened by it as well. As much as possible, she wants to take care of them herself. She's also selfless. Even though she's having a hard time, as long as the people important to her will be alright, she wouldn't mind it. She might not seem like it sometimes but she really loves and cares a lot for the people important to her.

discovery:
Her ability was slowly showing up and there were a lot of times when she was unconsciously using it.

First occurrence was when she and Taemin are alone in their home. They're cooking for dinner and Taemin was confused on what to do with the task given to him by his little sister. Taeyoung quickly answered the question in Taemin's mind which surprised him since he didn't say it aloud at all. Then he became worried that maybe she has an ability too. He immediately asked her to do it again which confused her since she knew that she was not doing anything special at all, she simply answered his question. Taemin quickly asked her to read his mind again and Taeyoung eventually tried to do it just to shut her big brother up. She unexpectedly failed to do it again so Taemin simply let things slide since maybe it's just a coincidence.

Then that incident didn't happen again for a few weeks and that relieved Taemin of course. Unfortunately, the second occurrence eventually came. It happened when Taeyoung woke up while Taemin was already lazing around the living room. She asked him why their mom is still at home since she knew that their mom will go to work early during that day. Taemin became confused since he surely saw their mom leaving earlier. She then told her that she just heard their mom muttering to herself as she looked for her phone. Right after that, their mom opened the front door and asked them if they had seen her phone since it seems like she left it. Then the two siblings exchanged surprised looks. Taeyoung clearly saw that Taemin was not moving his lips but she can still hear his voice in her mind. Of course, this made her frantic. Taemin quickly used his ability to made her think that it didn't happen at all. After that, it seems like she can't hear their thoughts again.

This kind of situation happened again and again. When her ability starts to show up, Taemin quickly tries to make her forget about it. It actually became effective for a while but the occurrence of her ability becomes more and more frequent.

Until one day, Taemin can't block it anymore. It was when the two of them are going to the mall. When they got out the car, Taeyoung suddenly heard the thoughts of the people at the parking lot. Taemin knew what to do right away and things eventually went back to normal. After spending sometime inside the shopping mall, Taeyoung's ability suddenly occurred again. This time it hit her with full force. Being in a huge public place made her hear hundreds of thoughts. It immediately gave her a severe headache. Taemin tried to block it again but it didn't work anymore and that's when he knew that she has to know the truth.

When the two of them are alone, that's when Taemin explained everything to her. She refused to believe it at first since it was simply ridiculous for her. Then Taemin tried to talk to her using his thoughts alone and she has no choice but to believe and accept it. After that day, she tried her best to avoid public places. When she's with other people she tried her best to endure all the thoughts running inside her head. It was hard for her of course since it's like her mind doesn't only belong to her.

He's really loving and caring. Despite being in the Domino City, he still made sure that he spends a lot of time with his family. He always made sure that they are loved and he always put them first before anything else. He also has a playful side but he knows when to be serious a father who will teach his child a lesson in life. When he was alive, he always told stories to his children about people who have powers and their great epic stories (the stories are actually true).
> mother: Yoon Hwa Young | 46 years old
She's always sweet and gentle. She never gets mad easily and when she does, she never scream out or gets violent. Instead, she simply talks with her children calmly and made them realize about their mistakes. But despite her soft character, she's actually strong. She knows pretty well how to handle things. She can even handle powers and all so let alone some problems in life. She never showed her lonely and problematic side to her children. She also acts like a best friend to her children since they want them to be comfortable and honest around her.
> older brother: Lee Taemin | 21 years old
This guy is actually playful and childish. He loves to tease and play pranks of people. It's very easy to make him laugh but he rarely gets emotional. He actually have a very bright personality and knows how to interact with people very well. Thanks to his friendliness, he has tons of friends around him. He's also a bit lazy but that doesn't mean he cannot do well in things (except for some major subjects like math and science, but he's doing great when it comes on controlling his ability) Taemin and Taeyoung actually has a love-hate siblings relationship. They would bicker a lot and then they would suddenly be all casual and close. But he's the sweet and clingy one between the two of them (and it irritates Taeyoung). He might not look like it but he really cares a lot about his sister and actually very protective of her. He knows how to be a serious older brother who would always be there for Taeyoung and wanting everything that's good for her.

His ability is like the opposite of Taeyoung's. He could not read other people's mind but he can somewhat control them. He can make people think what he wanted them to think. He can even make them forget and alter their memories. It's very much like he is manipulating their minds. Although when using his powers he needs to have an eye contact with the person he is using it to. (it can still be developed.)

> family history:
Her family is quite interesting since she has a domino father and a human mother. Her father, Daejung, was a famous and one of the best healers in Domino city. He is also known to be very fond of the human beings and that's why he often visited the human world. That's how he met their mother, Hwa Young. She was studying to be a doctor during that time and they both met in a library when she was studying. Having similar interests, both of them started to get close and eventually fell in love. As time passed by, Daejung decided to tell Hwa Young about his identity and ability. She was shocked at first and started to ignore him but soon enough she learned to accept him since she loves him that much. 

They unexpected had 2 children. They had no idea that a domino and human can have offsprings. As the children grew up, Daejung was hoping that maybe they won't have abilities like him since they have human blood after all. He wanted them to have a normal life. So far they didn't show any signs of having abilities at all but he still told Hwa Young that whenever they show any signs of having have one, he will have to bring them to the Domino city with him. There they can learn how to control and develop their bilities. Their years together were very joyful and harmonious. Daejung still goes to Domino City and only comes to the human world every weekend. The excuse they tell to their children is that he has to go to work. Well, he really works in Domino City so it's actually true.

One day when he came back to his family, they all decided to have an outing together. During the trip, they were caught in a car accident. A truck lost its control and smash right into the back side of their car. The ones who were severely hurt was their children since they received most of the impact and injuries. Being a doctor and a healer, their parents tired their best to save them but the damage was too much, they both know that it would be a miracle if they reach the hospital in time and survive. Daejung immediately decided to save them with his ability. However, using too much of it might endanger his life. But even knowing this, he still saved both of his children from death and causing his (it exactly like he transferred his life to them).

After that incident, the family lived a normal life without any involvement of the existence of the Domino. He always wanted a normal life for them so Hwa Young let that happen. But things didn't stay that way for a long time. When Taemin was 17 he slowly showed signs of having the ability to control people's mind. When Hwa Young learned about it, she told Taemin the truth and then sent him to Domino Academy--just like what Daejung told her before. They hid it from Taeyoung and told her that his brother is now studying in a boarding school so he'll only come home during holidays. They still hoped that maybe Taeyoung will have no ability after all. But once again, when she reached the age of 20, she slowly showed signs of having the ability. With that, Hwa Young and Taemin decided to tell her the truth and made her go to Domino Academy with her brother. 

(Because of having a human parent, they believe that it's one of the reasons why the occurrence of their ability was quite long and slow)

history:
Her life before entering Domino Academy, is pretty much like every normal human being's. Well not actually normal since she's quite an amazing student. She has good grades and yes, the top student of her batch. She's very popular but she only has a small circle of friends. She prefers to stay with them since they're her true and closest friends. Although, she's still friendly with other people. She's also a dependable daughter for her mother.

Despite her father's death 15 years ago, their family didn't went miserable. They became stronger and slowly tried to move on. They know that's how Daejung wanted to happen. She honestly can't remember too much memories with her father, except for his face and voice but she still knew how she loved his father very much. Their family is very close and full of happy memories.

After having her ability, Taeyoung slowly avoided interacting with people since it's hard for her to have all their thoughts rushing in her head. Most of the time she stayed in her room where she can have her own peace of mind. She still tries her best to act the same as before but things aren't going well for her. When she got in Domino Academy, she hoped that she'll be able to control her ability fast so things would go back the way they used to.

> coffee, she always drinks coffee during the morning and also when she's pulling an all-nighter. A day won't pass without her drinking her coffee.
> working during the night since that's when she can concentrate better and all the ideas come rushing in her mind.

> bothering her sleep or waking her up in a very unpleasant way especially when she was woken up because of only some trivial things. If this happens to her, there's a huge chance that she would be on a bad mood the whole day.

> she bites her lower lip when she's thinking or concentrating. The harder he bites her lip, the harder she thinks

> taking three deep breaths to calm herself down especially when she needs to do something that needs great effort and a lot of concentration (like when she's  starting to control her ability)
> tapping her feet or drumming her fingers on solid objects whenever she's bored or getting impatient.

> reading books (mostly novels, during her free time)
> shopping for fashion stuff. this is only the one "fun thing" that she can't resist. this is what her brother and friends use to make her go out and have fun with them.

> because of her short height, Taemin usually calls her "Pixie" and in return Taeyoung calls him "Mushie" because of his hairstyle mushroom-like hairstyle before.

domino ability: Mind Reading
control: She can't control it at all. Once she gets in a room full of people, all their thoughts rush into her mind. If it gets too unbearable for her, she'll get an severe headache and eventually break down. That's one of the cons of not having full control of her ability. Since her ability is not yet fully developed yet, she could only hear people's thoughts up to 10-15 meters away from her. The more familiar the voice is to her, the more farther she could hear it.

>Choi Jinri & Jung Soojung 
They're her best friends and they all went to the same high school and university. The three of them might have different personalities, but that didn't hinder them to form the strongest bond. Jinri is their sweet and happy-go-lucky girl while Soojung is the frank one who has a strong personality despite being the youngest among them. They all know each other a lot so they were never able to hide something from each other. 

After Taeyoung got her ability, it was so hard to hide things from them and telling them that everything's alright. When she transferred to Domino Academy, she said the same excuse that her brother used to say. She told her friends that she's going to study on a boarding school so she might not meet them soon.

love interest: Kim Jongin

meeting:
It was during her first day in Domino Academy. They were still fixing something on her dorm room and it might take a couple of hours so Taeyoung decided to stay in Taemin's room for a while. They were on the same dorm anyway since both of them are the same class, defense. She decided to take a shower to freshen up while Taemin automatically lazed out in the living room and watched TV.

Jongin heard about Taemin's arrival and being his best friend, he decided to pay him a surprise visit. He's a lazy so yeah, he did his thing and teleport to Taemin's room. Not having full control of his ability yet, he ended up in Taemin's bathroom. It's fine with him though since he knew that Taemin would be surprised more if he suddenly went out the bathroom.

Suddenly, he heard the shower behind him and it was on. He slowly looked with a huge grin since he was sure it was Taemin, it was his room after all. When he saw the person before him, his eyes widen so much that it might popped out of their sockets. It was of course followed by a high-pitch shriek from Taeyoung and also a scream from Jongin. He immediately teleport out of the bathroom and reappeared on Taemin's living room. His sudden disappearance earned another scream from Taeyoung.

Taemin who was worrying to death eventually found out the whole story and of course, Jongin was rewarded with hits and threats. Nevertheless, they immediately sort things out after all of them calmed down.

first impression:
Taeyoung's first impression of Jongin was not that great at all. He honestly barged--or teleport-- in the bathroom while she's showering so things would normally end up like that. It was an accident though so she let him have a second chance.

Jongin decided to still hang out with Taemin so the three of them awkwardly shared a room for a while. Jongin can't bear the awkwardness anymore so he suddenly broke the silence and reassured Taeyoung that he didn't see anything at all. But thanks to her mind reading skills, she immediately knew he was lying. He clearly saw her... well, everything. That kind of annoyed her and indifferently called him a liar. Taemin quickly explained her ability to his confused and stunned best friend.

After spending quite some time with Jongin, Taeyoung had an endless access on his mind and she quite knew him already. Even though he was guarded on his thoughts, she was still able to learn some things about him. She finally understood why he and Taemin are best of friends. They are both lazy and easy-going. The two of them both have playful and childish personality. And she was not clearly impressed about those traits.

About Taeyoung's father death... you can even make a reason behind it. I mean the accident can be one of the works of the Dark Circle since they're not fond of Daejung? And you're also free to alter something if that would suit the story better. I am not sure if Taemin would be in defense class to but you're free to change it too! ^^
