One day, a man went to a bar he frequented. He was talking to the Ainu bartender, and eventually she began talking about mirrors.

“Look straight at a mirror and then face down 45 degrees. Turn to the right, and you should see something interesting…” she said casually. “Maybe you won’t see anything at all. Maybe you’ll see something you don’t want to… And maybe, just maybe, something will happen. Something dangerous.” She looked at the man for a moment before continuing. “If you do try this ritual, don’t blame me for what does or doesn’t happen.”

When the man returned home, he remembered the woman’s story while brushing his teeth. Event though he didn’t believe any of what she said, he decided to try it out anyway.

As he turned, he saw… something. He never told another soul, but it was definitely there.

Mirrors reflect exactly what they are shown. Even if you lie to yourself, a mirror can reveal the truth.

Some believe the bartender’s ritual allows you to see into an alternative dimension.
