Style— She is a girl who mixes her liking for the color white into whatever she wears, from tops to her jeans, to her sneaker. She loves it when she is to wear atleast a pinch of white in her clothing. Her casual wear are usually simple shorts and shirts that makes her feel very comfortable. She could say that shorts and skirts are definitely her comfort clothes, specially flowy ones and so she also takes her casual clothes and turns them into her practice clothing. For formal wear, she usually wears short dresses that usually shows the curves of her body while her liking for white in this area of fashion is gradually thrown away because she feels as though the color red shows off more of her beautiful body. While as for her dorm clothes, she usually likes to wear sweaters or overly sized shirts that come up to her knees.
Personality—
At first look, she is this sort of Icy looking girl who is somewhat quiet and does not talk to people who she does not know. But of course, that is just an outer facade and an interpretation of her on the first time of meeting her. But once you get to know her, she is actually this very bubbly girl who is a very sweet and caring little sister to her unnies. People always say that it is a very ideal thing of knowing her first before you would judge her because that icy side of her is definitely just and outer facade.
But of course, despite of her being a bubbly sister, there is still a part of her that you really should not dare tick or else you will see a beautiful swan turn into a terrifying dragon. She is usually a short-tempered girl who really could not stand waiting for what she thinks is just plain nonsense. She also does not enjoy/like it when people call her by "Jessica's Younger Sister" or "f(x) Krystal's Dongsaeng" because she feels as though they are only paying attention to her because she is the sister of someone who is well-respected int he industry. But it is not that she hates her sister, she just wants to make a name for herself-- Natalie Jung. This little Hwang also has this little hatred for people who does not even know the word "cleanliness", specially because she is a 100% neat freak. And so at her free days, she usually takes hours to clean her whole room watching each corner with hawk eyes as she tries to 'eliminate' the dirt.
And because of her icy facade, which does not really interact with people, she is often mistaken by those as a rude girl who came from another country but does not even know the basics of respect. And so she was given the nickname of "The Next Ice Princess" specially because she just usually gives off this cold aura. She is also often seen staring at nothing or mong/blank that is why she is usually said to give off this disrespectful aura but then she reasons out that- "It is my way of thinking" or "It's an expression I make when I am too deep in my thoughts."
Onstage, she usually apears with charisma combined with her cold eyes which is a sort of sign that she is the younger sister of SNSD's Jessica and f(x)'s Krystal.

Background—
Born in California, Natalie grew up by the side of her Mom and Dad, two older brothers and older sister who loves her dearly. Her Dad is a lawyer while her Mom is a professor of medicine and devotee of a group who helps little street children. Growing up wasn't really a very good happening for her. At the age bracket of 4-6, she was usually admitted to the hospital due to her asthma attacks and on the age of 9, the family found out that she was claustrophobic and should definitely not be exposed to places that has a very small area.
As her sister Jessica and Krystal started as an IDOL, she was the only one left with her parents and decided to persue a dream in sports which she ventured towards and became an archery player. With determination, she managed to be on top of that sport in which she garnered praise from her relatives. But later on, as her sister garnered attention for her being a member of Girls' Generation, she was slowly being put behind her shadow. And as time passes by, seeing her sister perform on stage and brothers making beautiful music, she found out that she was not destined to be the archery chic that she is but instead be in the same line as to what her siblings are venturing in-- the music industry. But more difficulty arose as to which her dad is completely against her being in music specially because she is the last Jung to carry out their family tradition of being a doctor-lawyer but still, that didn't stop her in making beautiful music. With that, she would constantly rebel against her parent and eventually go to night gigs without their permission but inspite of being worried that she might get caught, she has always taken the opportunity as something she could use to venture towards her love for music.
Being the little sister of Jessica Jung, member of Korea's Representative girl Group SNSD, and by her sister Krystal's debut as a member of f(x), proved that it was definitely hard. She was the center of attention in school but definitely not just because of the success of her sister's career but because of the continuous teasing that her sister is known all over the the world while she is stuck being on school. Difficult as it may seem, everything changed during the 2011 SMTown Auditions, which she was forced to go to by her sister, because she has already sent a demo tape of Natalie singing an original song that she wrote.
Her parents did not actually like the fact of it because of their youngest daughter going to face the hectic world of the entertainment business. But with Jessica's help, their parents decided to allow her but with one condition that if she could not take it anymore, she is to be sent the back to the US and will persue her parents' dream of her being a doctor-lawyer on America's prestigious academies, immediately. It is not that her parents do not want her to pursue her dreams but they are afraid that their baby girl may not be ready yet. But now, Natalie is to debut and is now proving that eventhough training was difficult, she is definitely now ready to continue her dreams.

Personality— Eunji of Apink has always shown this Busan girl facade to everyone where she is tough yet loveable at the same time. She is the type to easily get jealous over things yet she is also great in hiding her true emotions on certain things.
Interactions— Natalie and Eunji usually see each other in music programs especially because they both are promoting their songs. At times, they would also see each other during acting auditions because both of them also share a love for acting.
Why they are rivals— The reason they are rivals is because they were both present in a drama audtion for KBS. Despite of Natalie not yet debuting, she was already given the chance to audition for the lead role of "Trot Lovers" in which Jung Eunji was happily reviewing the script. As they met in the audition room, it was rather something like a sunbae-hoobae moment for the both of them but as the time came for Natalie's audition, she was given quite a lot of praises by the production staff and Eunji was quite threatened by it and so as the auditions ended, Eunji decided that she would take on the lead role in the drama. And as the staff were announcing it, Eunji was gradually smirking at Natalie which the American girl found quite unnecessary and irritating.

Personality— Straightforwardly, the word cold definitely describes this man. At first glance, he's cold and at second, he's cold. But of course a man filled with coldness in his facade is not enough to describe him. At times, he also appears as though he is quite arrogant, looking as though he has gotten the prince syndrome due to him being praised by his looks and charisma on stage. But despite of this, he is also a very cute and gullible young man.
Although he is cold, he is also famous for his rather gullible facade at times. Usually he is the center of jokes between s and once he laughs, a contagious smile is always given to the fans.
First Meeting— As Natalie entered Woolim Entertainment, she was immediately roaming around the company as she looked for the CEO's office and as she was walking around, she was accidentally hit by L(who was filming INFINITE's Sesame Player) and being the hot-tempered girl that she is, she didn't let it pass and so she urged L for a sorry from her in which she got a sarcastic one so she still demanded for something more sincere. But L really did not want to give it to her because he thinks as though she was at fault so they end up sending death glares at each other until the members of Infinite came and broke the glaring battle.
Interactions— L and Natalie aren't really in good terms with each other because they feel as though "their characters are always clashing" with one another. As Natalie and her unnies and dongsaengs are promoting for their debut album, L and the rest of Infinite were also promoting for Last Romeo and both groups were a part of MC Shindong's segment in Show Champion! and they were both asked to perform a scene between lovers.
During their scene, it was like L was challenging her and so being a girl who does not backout, she accepted it and both showed a scene wherein they were really like a couple. After that, L always used that as a tease to Natalie. Since then, he would constantly , leaving Natalie very irritated towards him.

Trainee Life— Being a trainee was rather difficult for Natalie. During her stay in SM, she was always ridiculed to have only entered the company because of her sister's influence. And being a foreign trainee, she would take hours to learn the language and at the same time practice for their monthly evaluations. Eventhough she was the sister of Jessica, she has lived like that of a trainee not having any specialties because of her sister and she would even often ignore her own sister because of the troubles she would get if she interacted with her. But as the day ends with her crying, she would often have calls from her bestfriends and they would comfort her and continue to tell help her through this very difficult time of hers.
While her trainee days in Woolim was rather easier that usual. Although a lot better treatment was there in Woolim, she still had a difficult time in adapting with the new people she was to train with.
