If you don't know me, my name is Minnie (or Min for short) and I'm most likely younger than you ;) 

On Friday, March 21^st, I was informed that I was the "One Wish" winner for Teen Top's High Kick tour in New York. In case you don't know, KPOP UNITED's "One Wish" is a charity campaign that reaches out to fans who are not able to attend their favorite KPOP concert due to extreme circumstances. For High Kick, this campaign gave a fan from the North America stops the special gift of personally and privately meeting Teen Top along with free tickets to the concert. I had applied with absolutely no hope that I was going to win, but on that fateful Friday night, I received the best email in my entire life. 

I live in ia which is a few hours away from New York and I knew that I would never be able to go to High Kick despite begging my parents to let me go as a birthday present. If you follow my author's notes on my stories, you'll know that I'm diagnosed with several illnesses, some chronic and others hereditary. I'm almost always in pain and I spend more time in the emergency room than I do at my own house. Most people can't tell from first glance, though, because I don't like to show my illnesses. Rather, I'm stronger than the things that make me handicapped and I don't let them stop me from living my life. Idols encourage me to pull through by just watching them through a computer screen or my TV, and the Teen Top boys were a huge part of why I'm so optimistic. They always make me laugh and I'm always able to forget that I'm in pain because of them. They make me feel normal. That is why I applied for the campaign, hoping that if I did win even though there was a slim chance of that, I would be able to personally thank the boys for everything and relay the love that international Angels hold for them. 

When I was informed, it was less than two days before the concert and I freaked. I was so worried that I wouldn't be allowed to go all the way up to NYC on such a short notice and my mom opposed of it so much. I literally cried and begged as much as I could but my hope was quickly diminishing as Saturday moved along. It wasn't until early Saturday evening that my wonderful aunt told me that if I could find means to go up to NYC without her driving, she would accompany me. And so began my frantic last minute planning while keeping in touch with the KPOP UNITED staff who had to work very hard to sort everything out. God bless my mom who eventually gave in and sacrificed a lot of money in order for me to fulfill one of my biggest wishes. I'm also super thankful towards my aunt who took off from work to come with me! 

My aunt and I ended up taking an express bus to New York. I had bought tickets literally at 9PM on Saturday night while the concert was the very next day like wow talk about literal last minute. We woke up before the sun even rose on Sunday, packed all of our stuff, and took a cab to the Union Station in DC. The cab came late and we barely made it to our bus like we were legit sprinting from the entrance to our terminal. It was really exhilarating haha. So we were finally able to relax on the bus all the way up to New York and it was about a 4 hour drive. On the bus, there were these two girls listening to B2ST and I wondered if they were going to the concert also like I wanted to ask so badly but I couldn't bring myself to. We reached the city some time around noon and wow, were we lost and confused. This was my first time in NY as was my aunt's first time and we had no idea what we were doing. I was supposed to show up at the venue at 6PM so we had 6 hours to kill but no idea where to go. We sort of just wandered around and went to Central Park and Chinatown and that was just a blast. When we were in Chinatown, I started worrying that I was going to smell like fish because of the markets and my aunt laughed so hard at me freaking out and I begged her to go get a hotel. She told me to find a hotel and I was freaking out because I didn't know which hotel, so we went back to the Port Authority Bus Terminal and got a hotel a block away from it. Turns out the hotel was two blocks away from the venue so luck was literally on our side. 

We rested a bit and I took a shower because who would want to smell like fish and Chinese food in front of Teen Top? Lol I loved Chinatown though that place is the bomb diggity I will definitely come back when I can. So when it was a quarter till 6, we made our way to the venue and THE LINE WAS SO LONG. The 23^rd was a really cold day and I felt so bad for everyone that had to wait outside for so long ;^; I felt even worse because when I got there, I called one of the event organizers and I was escorted inside the venue without even having to wait outside :c When I was inside the doors, I was literally trembling and my aunt was still laughing at me like thanks. I was given an all access bracelet along with the blue bracelet for the hi-touch and I was introduced to security guards because they had to know my face and I was taken down the escalators to the concert floor (if you've ever been to the Best Buy Theater, you'll understand what I'm talking about). I was surprised to see so many fans waiting down there also because they were the VIP ticket holders I suppose. I was introduced to Nadia, Minju, and Erin. They're all total sweethearts and I'm so glad I was able to get to know them. They're the dragon ladies who were behind the planning of the concert and Erin was an assistant but she was given the task of escorting me throughout the whole entire night. How did she even put up with me? Haha xD

When they started letting fans into the concert area, I was just sitting in front of the doors because they had to find me a place where I could sit because they absolutely didn't want me to be in the pit due to my medical problems. After they had everything sorted out, the staff let me know the whole laydown of the evening and they took me to my seat which was right next to the stage in the handicapped area. I was really thankful because they gave me the best treatment and made sure I was treated like a princess. My aunt left after I got seated because she wanted to take a nap at the hotel so she left me with Erin haha I wanted her to watch Teen Top with me but she was like "I'll just show up for the hi-touch" lol what a waste :P So the handicapped area is literally connected to the stage like there's only a curtain on the side separating me from running on the stage to start dancing with the boys. I would be lying if I said I wasn't tempted to :P haha so Erin and I got to know each other very well while waiting for the concert to start and I guess it was running a little behind on schedule but Nadia was really stressed out and all of the staff were running on no sleep so everyone was busy, tired, and stressed ;^; there had been an incident earlier but I'm not sure what happened but it was the reason why everything was running behind on schedule but the fans really didn't mind. The venue was PACKED like I was really happy seeing the turnout and even though the Best Buy Theater was probably their smallest venue, you could feel the energy of the fans before the concert even started. 

Like 10 minutes before the concert, there was a group of fans who started coming up to the handicapped section to stand and Erin asked them who allowed them to. They said that some security guards directed them but Erin was skeptical and went to handle the situation. She asked me if I was okay with them being up here and I told her I was okay as long as they don't crowd around me and the wheelchair-bound fan along with a little 6 year old Chunji-biased Angel who I became very fond of. Erin spoke to security guards who said that they didn't tell anyone to come up to the handicapped section so it was all very confusing but eventually, they roped out a huge part of the handicapped area and said no one was allowed past the rope besides the people already in it. It was alright for a few fans to be there but they weren't allowed to be on the stairs either. They really cared a lot about my safety omg ;^; 

So the concert begins and IT WAS AMAZING OKAY I HAVE NO WORDS TO DESCRIBE IT. The lights shut off and from my seat I could see backstage so I saw the boys preparing to go out onto the stage for the first song and I was ready to die I mean I COULD SEE THEM BEFORE ANYONE ELSE COULD I WANTED TO CRY I TRULY DID like Chunji looked my way when I yelled "LEE CHANHEE" before they even got into their formation and I was about bawling by that time. The curtain drops and my eardrums burst and I'm on the ground because Rocking was their first song and I just yelled the fanchant to my heart's content okay. The concert was fabulous I mean they all sound so heavenly in real life and BOY YOU LOOK SO PERFECT THEREEE ooooh yasss haha I had to sit down so many times to pop pills in my mouth or to take my inhalers because I was just dying haha^^ The security guards in the pit were so nice because they always made sure I had ice cold water and I could see them waterfalling water into dehydrated fans' mouths; it was really sweet :P During the concert, L.Joe waved at me so cutely like omgomgomgomg preshus and Ricky was stuck on my side of the stage wow he waved at me so many times and smiled at me OH AND HE SANG TO ME AND WAVED AT ME WHEN THEY WERE SINGING BRUNO MARS' "MARRY YOU" KMS and Changjo also waved at me so I made a heart and screamed "I LOVE YOU" and he waved back and was like "I LOVE YOU TOO" AND I SCREAMED "YOU LIAR" LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL when Minsoo rapped to "Rock Star" he was sagging and you could see his red underwear and after the performance I yelled "MINSOO-YAH PULL UP YOUR PANTS" and the security guard was like "YOU TELL EM GURL" I LAUGHED SO HARD BUT THE FANS AROUND ME WERE JUDGING ME SO HARD I'M SORRY MINSOO I LOVE YOU I SWEAR oh and during a talk time, L.Joe was like "Since we're in New York, where should we go?" or something like that and I screamed "GO ON A DATE WITH ME" oops oops oops Byunghun I'm sorry x) I didn't have any interactions with Chunji and Niel during the concert because they were always on the other sides sobs why don't you love me haha whenever Chunji did his high notes, one of the security guards would always mock him and the guards really liked to make fun of Teen Top but they ended up liking them HAH IN YOUR FACE XD 

The concert went by wayyyy too quickly but I don't even know how many times I cried during it! By the last few minutes of the encore stage, Erin told me that it was time to go and I fell off my chair I'm not even joking I did. She had to support me to walk as we headed backstage oHMYGAWD LIKE I WAS LITERALLY ON THE SIDE OF THE STAGE TEEN TOP WAS RIGHT THERE I COULD HAVE RUN ONTO STAGE AND THROWN MYSELF OFF OF IT IF I WANTED TO I COULD HAVE HUGGED TEEN TOP ON STAGE but I held myself back wow self control guys and I tripped on my way backstage LOL yes reallll smooth of me. So I was taken through many passageways until we reached this hallway with purple walls AND STRAIGHT DOWN THE HALLWAY AT THE VERY END WAS TEEN TOP'S DRESSING ROOM. I WAS SHAKING AND HYPERVENTILATING AND READY TO COMBUST OH DEAR. I was like "ARE WE GOING INTO THEIR DRESSING ROOM ARE WE ARE WE" but no I was taken to the dressing room right next to it x) I was slightly disappointed BUT I WAS RIGHT NEXT TO TEEN TOP'S DRESSING ROOM AKA THE ROOM WHERE THEY CHANGE THEIR CLOTHES AND EAT AND OH DEAR LORD WOW so I was left alone in my dressing room and there was a TV there so I could still watch the encore stage but I couldn't focus omg omg omg after the concert ended staff started to come into the dressing room and greet me/introduce themselves and I met a lot of the people behind this beautiful concert wow god bless all of your souls for this wonderful experience ;; there were like Korean lunchboxes spread throughout on the tables and such and I asked them if that's what the boys ate also and they said yes but it didn't look very filling because it's what they have to eat ALL the time and they told me the boys don't usually eat it all also T^T Everyone was really tired and I seriously commend them for doing this job oh gosh

They offered me cupcakes and sweets and stuff and they told me to sit down and relax but I'm like "LOLOLOLOLOLOL NO I'M OK HAH HA HA" They all laughed at me :P I also took pictures with a lot of the staff and they're just like "wow model status aren't you" LOL they kept on calling me adorable ;^; one of the staff, Richard, was like "Can I have your autograph?" and I was like "lOL WAIT WHAT" and he's like "Wait I'd have to give something in return for that right" and I think I said "oh yeah Teen Top's hand in marriage would be nice in exchange" LOLOL oh gosh someone stop me. I waited like about 15-20 minutes in that dressing room I supposed. I was waiting to be queued in because the boys freshening up aw how adorbs and there were staff coming out of Teen Top's dressing room continuously and I bowed and greeted EVERY.SINGLE.ONE. I've never bowed so much in my life .____. Backstage is a whole new world lol. I think there were Mnet staff in the dressing room across from mine and they were just chillaxing wow I wish I was as relaxed as them but no I was shaking ok. So I think it was Minju who came in with an autographed Teen Top Class Addition and a concert poster. She handed the both of them to me and I'm like "?????????? THESE ARE MINE????????????" LIKE WOW COULD YOU GUYS HEAR MY SCREAMS FROM WHERE YOU WERE OMG SO BEAUTIFUL yep so basically I was bowing for a reallllyyy long time and I wasn't expecting the boys to come out any time soon

BUT THEN

THE DOOR OPENS

AND I'M EXPECTING ANOTHER STAFF SO I'M ALREADY BOWING

BUT THEN I LOOK UP

AND LO AND BEHOLD

YOO ING CHANGHYUN IS STANDING IN THE DOORWAY LOOKING DOWN AT ME AND I'M TREMBLING AND ABOUT TO HAVE A SEIZURE. SINCE WHEN WAS RICKY SO TALL I FELT SO SHORT JUST STANDING THERE IN MY DRESSING ROOM AND WE'RE JUST STARING AT EACH OTHER FOR WHO KNOWS HOW LONG until Niel shows up behind Ricky and ruins our staring contest and goes "Oh!" at me like all surprised like did you expect me to be taller or older or—

Then the other members start filing out of their dressing room into the hallway in front of my dressing room and I'm like "nope I'm out of here" so I like back up farther into my dressing room AWAY from the boys because I was super afraid. I still don't know what I was afraid of like being in their presence or being in their presence? xD I was on the verge of tears while Minju told my story to the boys about how I've been sick ever since I was little and because of Teen Top I was able to gain strength to move on and overcome my disabilites and they all go "awwww" while I'm backing up against a couch and can't go any farther without climbing up a wall. 

Then Teen Top all turns to watch me as I cry and freak out about their existence because I'm just muttering "they're real THEY'RE REAL" under my breath. God only knows what would have happened if I had just run away from them hahAHA I think they thought I was scared of them oh no I'm just scared that I'm not worthy to be in the presence of kings omfg well my lovely Erin decides to push me closer towards them but I'm sort of clinging and hiding behind a wall while freaking CHOI JONGHYUN AND YOO CHANGHYUN ARE BECKONING ME TO COME TOWARDS THEM LIKE NO DON'T SEDUCE ME LIKE THAT ((lololol)) THEY WERE SO CUTE SAYING "Come here! COME.HERE!" IN ENGLISH OH GOSH AND ALL OF THE STAFF ARE TRYING TO GET ME TO COME TOWARDS THEM OUT INTO THE HALLWAY BUT I LITERALLY YELL "NO THEY'RE TOO PERFECT FOR ME" but then lovely Erin decides to push me towards them bUT THEN CHANGJO GRABS MY WRIST AND PULLS ME INTO HEAVEN I mean into the hallway wHERE I'M SURROUNDED BY TEEN TOP, STAFF, and...cameras...wow like where did 5+ cameras suddenly come from oh wow. So the order from left to right was Niel, Chunji, me and Changjo (he was standing behind me), Minsoo, L.Joe, and then little Ricky standing in the corner aw aw aw lemme hug you. They all had their hands on me when Changjo pulled me towards them to steady me in case I faceplant onto the floor and I'm just repeating "THEY'RE TOUCHING ME THEY'RE TOUCHING ME TEEN TOP IS TOUCHING ME"

I vaguely remember looking straight into the camera focused on me saying, "HE'S TOUCHING MY HAIR" um excuse my behavior lol I was literally just stating everything they were doing to me bECAUSE I COULDN'T BELIEVE IT??? Teen Top and I took pictures together but they're all on some Mnet staff's camera and all of the footage haven't been released yet but I have no idea when it will be released :-) unless they're going to come out with a DVD but :-) Moving on~

I was asked if I had anything to ask or say to Teen Top and idk my mind just sort of went blank like wouldn't yours when you're surrounded by Teen Top (and might I add, they smell like they live in Bath&Body Works like how can grown men SMELL SO NICE and LOOK SO PERFECT after a 2hr long concert come on man). The only thing I could think up of to say was "saranghae" in a REALLY QUIET and REALLY HIGH voice and they all chuckle and Minsoo is just like "kyeopta" behind me anD NO MINSOO DON'T DO THIS TO ME WHY WHY WHY I WISH I COULD HAVE SAID SOMETHING SMART OR ASKED THEM ABOUT THEIR THOUGHTS ON GLOBAL WARMING OR DEMOCRACY BUT NO I JUST HAD TO CONFESS MY LOVE TO THEM WOW

and then I turn to Chunji anD

I WAS STUTTERING SO BAD IT WAS SO EMBARRASSING CHUNJI WHY MUST YOU BE SO PERFECT LEE CHANHEE PLEASE OH GAWD HIS FACE IS FLAWLESS LIKE PICTURES AND VIDEOS DON'T DO HIM JUSTICE HE IS JUST A+++++++ HE HAS NO IMPERFECTIONS ON HIS FACE LIKE DO YOU BATH IN THE BLOOD OF S OR SOMETHING so I was just like "C-C-C-C-C-CA-A-A-AN-CAN I H-H-H-HAVE A H-H-H-H-HU-HU-HU-HUG??" and he tilts his head and cutely repeats "Hug?" AND BEFORE I CAN SAY YES OR NOD OR SOMETHING, HE WRAPS HIS ARMS AROUND ME AND I'M SOBBING INTO HIS CHEST and I think I went to heaven for the few seconds I was in his arms I don't even know. 

They're all so tall :------)

I felt like an ant next to them why oh why :----) 

Yep so I tell them how much we all love them and how special they are and I don't even remember what I said anymore I was too caught up staring at their flawless faces oh man they're way too hot in real life I can't I can't; 

I then asked if I could have a hug from every member AND LEE CHANHEE FREAKING MUTTERS "So it wasn't just me" UNDER HIS BREATH BUT I COULD HEAR IT AND I COULD UNDERSTAND LIKE YES HAH I WIN I CAN UNDERSTAND KOREAN I CAUGHT YOU REDHANDED JEALOUS CHUNJI. Every member signed my poster and then gave me a hug and :------------)))))))))))))) it's like being hugged by God :----------)))))))) they'RE SO WARM AND SMELL SO NICE AND I JUST...NO. WHY ARE THEY ALL SO SKINNY JUST TELL ME WHY i MEAN THEY HAVE NICER BODIES THAN I DO THANKS; I'll just mention this but Niel was the one who wrote my name on my poster and he was like "What's her name? Minnie? MIN NI? MIN I? MINNIE?" and they're like "It's Minnie" and then he turns and looks at me and is like "MINNIE MOUSE?" and I'm just laughing like "YES YOU GOT IT BRO" but...he spelled my name as "Mini" instead of "Minnie" :-) "Mini" as in "miniature" thanks bro 

I kind of felt bad when Chunji got all jealous so I smiled at him and then literally jumped at him for another hug I'M SORRY PLEASE FORGIVE ME ANGELS I COULDN'T HELP MYSELF I'M SO SORRY I COULDN'T HOLD MYSELF BACK bUT THEN HE PRESSES OUR CHEEKS TOGETHER IN THE HUG AND I DIED 

then they were interviewed for a bit while I'm standing off to the side staring at them all and Beyonce's producer talks about them and hey he's a cool dude bro and and and everything was just too perfect

Throughout the whole ordeal I didn't even pay attention to the cameras even though I was surrounded by them wow I thought if I was ever going to be in front of so many cameras I would faint bUT NOPE I'm so proud of myself xD

Afterwards, I was taken to the concert area again where all of the hi-touch members are sitting down and Erin and I are waiting by the soundboard and they come out for hi-touch and I'm just waiting because I was told that I had to be the very last hi-touch I don't even know why but yah it went by REALLY quickly so in no time it was my turn and the staff sees that I'm the last one so they're just like "SHE'S THE LAST ONE YAAAASSS" haHA the members all thanked me for coming and I shook their hands instead of hi-fiving them but then I get to Chunji and we shake hands bUT THEN INTERLOCK FINGERS LIKE YES I HELD HANDS AND INTERLOCKED FINGERS WITH LEE TO THE CHANHEE OH MY GAWD I MEAN WE'RE JUST SMILING AT EACH OTHER WITH OUR FINGERS INTERLOCKED AND RICKY IS JUST WAITING FOR ME TO MOVE ON TO HIM AND I'M

sobs lololol so we FINALLY let go of our hands because everyone is just watching our sappy little moment and then I come to Ricky and he was realllly nice to me the whole entire evening along with Changjo so I was really thankful for that :) I bid them all goodbye and Erin escorts me to my aunt and then I reluctantly left ;~; I was retelling everything that happened that night to my aunt and she just laughs all the way to the hotel loL I'm creys for life. My aunt really liked L.Joe and Ricky though she said they were cute LOL YASSSS JOIN THE DARK SIDE 

My night did not end there though because when I was in the dressing room, I overheard staff trying to find out with their hotel had express drycleaning for the boys ((omg omg omg so cute SO CUTE THEY NEEDED DRYCLEANING LIKE HEY I'LL HANDWASH YOUR CLOTHES FOR FREE I GOTCHU)) and they called the hotel and I overheard them say the name of the hotel that I'M STAYING IN so when I got back, I drop all of my stuff off in my room and then go down to the comfort area for guests because after 10PM you need a roomcard in order to go past the security floor and there's a like main lobby area with chairs and couches and stuff in front of the check in area WITH FREE WIFI so I just sit there watching out for staff and Teen Top in case it really was my hotel they were talking about but my aunt didn't believe me and was just waiting for me to give up so we could go eat dinner BUT 

I SUDDENLY HEAR REALLY LOUD KOREAN AND I HEARD SOMEONE ODDLY FAMILIAR AND THEY JUST SAY SOMETHING ABOUT "CHANHEE" REALLY LOUDLY AND SO I FALL OFF OF MY CHAIR AND WATCH THE ESCALATOR AND OHMSGLKSND;FLCAS;ANSPWEKC'AWLCNAS;FAP]SW['q;d;asSDFPSERCA'SDA;D DEAR GAWD L.JOE IS WALKING RIGHT BY ME. HE TURNED AND LOOKED AT ME AND SMILED AND I????? BECAUSE??? HE??? RECOGNIZED ME??? IM???  I MEAN HE SORT OF JUST MET ME LESS THAN HALF AN HOUR EARLIER BUT OHG OAWI DPKSD;AS'S SOBBING SOBBING SOBBING then I talk to a staff for a little while lawll yep so I'm on the lookout for the other members but yeah I think they went to a different entrance but my aunt comes down and she's like "there are staff all over our floor" AND I'M SCREAMING BECAUSE TEEN TOP HAS BEEN STAYING IN THE SAME HOTEL ON THE SAME FLOOR AS ME AND I HAD NO IDEA DEAR LORD WHAT KIND OF TWISTED FATE IS THIS BECAUSE I GO UPSTAIRS AND I SEE IT'S REAL IT'SSSSS REALLLLLL AHHHHHHHH

But like before I found that out, L.Joe got changed REALLY quickly and my aunt nudged me when she saw him walking towards the escalator and I follow behind him so I WAS RIGHT BEHIND L.JOE ON AN ESCALATOR OH GAWD WHY DIDN'T I PRETEND TO FALL OR SOMETHING I- osj;nlskdf;clsdf;casld but he was wearing a cap and it was close to midnight and he had on glasses then he left the hotel to go somewhere by himself and I wanted to follow him but I didn't and...I'm still curious as to where he went...LOL XD

So I didn't see any other members and it was time to start heading to the bus terminal to go home and I was really drained and I had eaten nothing but everything was so worth it :) I left New York with only the best of memories and honestly it was the best day ever. I returned home at 5AM and even though I literally only had 3 hours of sleep, believe it or not, I went to school on Monday -______- even though I was basically a zombie and was suffering from PCD, I didn't regret anything :P

I would just like to thank KPOP UNITED and Teen Top from the bottom of my heart for everything. I wouldn't have been able to experience something so magical without them and also to all of the sponsors and everyone who was able to make "One Wish" and High Kick possible. THANK YOU FOR ALL OF YOUR HARD WORK because now I know how uneblievably stressful it is :3 I don't think any other concert will be able to top this experience that I've had. 

I promised the boys that I would recover well and I'll make it a goal of mine that the next time I meet Teen Top, I'll bring them proof that I've gone into remission. I really hope that they'll remember me but they've encouraged me to become stronger and fight my disabilities. 

I hope you all enjoyed my SUPER LONG fanaccount (did you guys fall asleep come on man) haha :) I know it's kind of...mehh...I mean I'm not good at writing fanaccounts xD but xD 

You all are stanning the right people. The Teen Top boys have got to be some of the sweetest, most down-to-earth idols out there. There is no difference between the lovable Teen Top on screen and in real life. I'm so glad that I was able to meet them and though I can tell they didn't enjoy New York that much because it was freezing then, I really hope they'll come back! And to the United States, of course.
