Well, I'll just say that before recently, I was confused by gay fanfics too (I still am about lesbian and genderswitch though). But then I read a snippet of a story and then I understood why. I mean, people read it because there's always a female ish member in the group that can be shipped with a more manly member. And I also find that there are good writers in the Fandom too, just as good as hetero fic writers like myself. I don't know. I hope that explains it?

For (guyxguy), there are really good writers out there. Almost all the fics that I like for the quality are . Even if it is just pwp ( without plot). I have not found any good genderbender fics and I don't get the concept of it though.
