» PERSONALITY

Hayeon is very cold towards people. She doesn't like to show her emotions and usually puts a pretty smile on her face to hide everything else. But if Hayeon opens up, she turns into a really sweet girl who is fiercely loyal and protective of her family and friends. She loves to go to parks and sit under the trees either to read or write when she has the time.

Haeyon tends to stay away from people because she doesn't want to get too close to them. She doesn't want to experience the hurt that might come if she lost them. She's also afraid that by being close with other people, she's replacing her sister. If people try to get to know her, she only gives shallow facts about herself or sometimes just plain giving fake information. 

As long as Hayeon believes she's alone, she turns a bit childish. She loves to play in secluded parks, and get wet in the rain. That being said, she has no sense of self-preservation. She hardly takes care of herself properly and tends to get sick a lot. But since she doesn't like bothering people, she always tries to hide her sicknesses.

Hayeon can easily become depressed but hates to show it so she tends to hide or run away when that happens. She tends to cling to a teddy bear that she and Jiyeon shared when they were kids and is one of the only signs of her being almost at breaking point. Despite all these though, Hayeon is determined to leave a legacy in her sisters memory, always remembering how music made her semi human again.

 

» Background

Hayeon grew up in Manila, Philippines with her parents and twin sister Jiyeon. As children, the twins were inseperable. They really had a connection that couldn't be explained and everyone saw it. One day though, her mother and Jiyeon got into an accident. Neither survived and Hayeon was devastated. Her father was also very sad and decided to move to Korea to get a fresh start. At first, Hayeon was just really depressed and angry. She felt really empty without her twin sister beside her. She even tried to kill herself once; she still has the scars on her wrists to prove it. But at this point in time, Hayeon discovered music. Music was what helped her move on from her pain and live again. Ever since then, she vowed to join the music industry, hoping to become one of the people who essentially saved her life. 

Hayeon quickly started to learn how to sing and dance before finally getting the courage to try out for a company. At the age of 14, 4 years after her mom and sister's death, she tried out for SM and passed.

» PERSONALITY

Hayeon's personality towards Taemin is very strange. Many people can tell that there's a connection between the 2 but Hayeon tends to push Taemin away. Taemin on the other hand senses that there's something wrong with Hayeon and really wants to get her to open up to him. He finds Hayeon really interesting and all he wants to do is make her smile.

Taemin is very cheerful and tries to get Hayeon to laugh or smile every time he sees her. He is really sweet and patient. He also finds it funny when Hayeon tries to push him away or finds him annoying. Taemin acts cute towards Hayeon, knowing it annoys her. He can be very dense when it comes to certain things so he tends to ask his friends for help.

Taemin loves food and will find any excuse to eat. He's also very adventurous and loves to try new things especially with other people. Taemin can be very protective and a little jealous prone when it comes to things he likes as well. He's also a little forgetful and tends to lose things easily, making not a very good receipient of gifts. :))

» INTERACTIONS

Taemin and Hayeon first met through hanging out with similar friends. Hayeon hardly ever goes out but after being dragged by some of her friends, Taemin and Hayeon finally met. Since then, they've hung out a couple of times but always with friends. Whenever they see each other in the company building, Taemin would make it his mission to see a smile on Hayeon's face before leaving her. If nothing else, Taemin can get Hayeon go out and interact with other people.

The only thing Hayeon really lets Taemin do is take her home or take her to parks. As much as Hayeon would hate to admit it, she has fun with Taemin at parks. Taemin also finds Hayeon a little less cold when they're at parks. They usually have picnics underneath the trees or just a quick walk before heading home. 

When they do go out to have dinner together or have a quick vacation at the beach, it's always with a bunch of other people they're age. They've been to a few clubs but when drinking, they usually stay in someone's house.
