BAPLOE2014, my experience

B.A.P Live on earth Düsseldorf - AMAZING!

For those of you who clicked on this, I'm going to write something about my first Kpop concert experience ever, which was amazing. Don't hesitate to ask me anything regarding the concert or to tell your own experiences about (Kpop) concerts!

I think I'm a fan of B.A.P for around a year now. I got to know them via a friend/ex-colleague of mine and I must say I never regret listening to her suggestion. My love for B.A.P grew more and more since then, so when I heard about them having a continent tour I freaked out. Especially since one of the continents would be Europe. I knew they wouldn't come to my country - which is the Netherlands - but I guessed and hoped that they would go to Germany and they did, Düsseldorf to be precise. The only problem surfacing now was with who I was supposed to go since I'm not the type to dive into an adventure like this alone. In the end I went with the one who introduced me to them and two other friends. They were crazy about B.A.P too, but didn't have the money at the time so I paid in advance for them, which cost me a fortune. Around €410, which is a lot. I would never imagine myself paying that much for seeing handsome boys perform, heck normally I wouldn't even have this money! But hey B.A.P got me to do it, it's crazy.

After I had purchased the four tickets I had to think about other things too, such as traveling and perhaps a hotel. Honestly, I hadn't thought about that when I skipped college to buy the tickets, so everything was quite done at the last moment. It turned out fine though. I found this - relatively cheap - hotel 20 minutes away from the venue by train and I figured how to travel to Germany. I was ready to see them.

The train voyage went totally smooth and I saw some people eyeing my B.A.P bag, which could only mean they were BABYZ too, but I was too scared to talk to them actually. When I finally arrived in Düsseldorf the station was floating with BABYZ. I saw people with Matoki t-shirts, Live on Earth t-shirts or other things. It was really fun to see and I was growing more and more excited and I was finally realizing that I would actually see them, I would actually see Jung Daehyun!

I arrived at the venue around 3:00 PM, which meant that I was five hours early. It was very crowded however and I grew a little desperate from the sight, since it would mean I wouldn't be able to see them from really close. Fortunately I'm tall (1.78 meters or something, yes I know tall) so in the end it wasn't really that bad, but still. And so I sat for five hours on the ground - my was hurting like crazy - before the line actually started to move because the doors had opened. It was only then that I realized that I didn't have it that bad since the queue behind me was insanely long!

Once inside the venue I was just standing with my friends waiting for it to actually start. I swear, time had never gone by that slowly. Every second felt like an hour because I was way too excited. There was this short BABY behind me and I felt quite bad for being so tall (LOL) all of a sudden, but I had shrugged it off since I can't help being tall and I can’t please everyone. When the clock 8:00 PM everybody was fan chanting: B.A.P! B.A.P! and of course I joined which resulted in my voice already raspy before the show had even started. When the music of B.A.P's - B.A.P started to play I couldn’t stop screaming and suddenly there they were and then it hits you. They are real. You have been checking them out through videos and they are so 'perfect' that you almost forget that they're real people. They started with One Shot and I felt so ecstatic, it isn't any feeling you can describe. I was so much into singing and dancing (singing with the most terrible hoarse singing voice ever, seriously I get embarrassed whenever I hear myself on the video's I made) through the whole concert that I hadn't even noticed that there were now two BABYZ between me and my friends. Which left me alone. Honestly I was having so much fun that I didn't even care. I sort of befriended this Swedish BABY next to me and it was fun to meet someone else. We were fangirling like crazy, as if we were actual best friends ha-ha and I regret not asking her number or something since I would like to keep contact with her.

There was this part where B.A.P were changing clothes - a VCR - where they learned us a little dance. It was so cute and fun! It was a dance whereby you had to high five a BABY next to you, so it was really made up nicely since it would make people interact with each other. B.A.P's stage presence was just so good, woaw it blew me away! I was surprised with Zelo since he was a real eye catcher and that's coming from someone who is completely Daehyun-biased. Speaking of him, he was so insanely handsome - all members were actually - that I just couldn't believe it. And that voice... it left me standing dumbfounded! The members were also speaking English and a little German, which I found really cute since they were really trying! I was impressed by it, since I thought their English was quite bad. I can't judge for the German though haha.

To describe the members: Jongup was adorable, his smile is just as sweet as you see in interviews and he sang ''Do you want to build a snowman'' which I found so cute. He also had his own solo stage and his dance was amazing! Youngjae was really cute too, a real heartthrob and his German was the cutest thing. Especially since he said something but nobody knew what he was saying, he looked so lost and cute. Himchan is so handsome, not normal! He made me chuckle when he got out his Camera during crash, I hope he captured me although I doubt it. Zelo was just... I'm around one and a half year older than him and I always considered him cute, but at this concert... he was just hot. His arms were so muscular! He wasn't a young boy anymore, no! And he had the cutest laugh when he spoke in German and asked if we loved him. He dropped a little to the ground and his laugh was just... killer. Bang Yongguk, my god. This man... is so y. I didn't find him cute at all. His deep voice is a killer and his stage presence screams confident. He is the definition of a y man, really. His English was very good too! Then for Jung Daehyun, all I want to say is that I just want to marry this guy. His laugh... it was insane. His high notes... insane. He looked so good in his t-shirts and I just... I just wondered what air was when I saw him. He is the best ultimate bias in every aspect - for me! I swear whenever the crowd got calm I felt the urge to randomly scream his name, but I decided not to do that because I wouldn’t want to embarrass him… and myself.

Really it was the best first Kpopconcert I could ever wish for. I am grateful that it got to be B.A.P whose kpopconcert I could attend first since they're my number one bias group and I feel honoured for being able to see them. The chances are rare after all.

Now that it's over - it has been for almost a week now - I must say I feel a little empty. I'm still suffering from PCD (Post Concert Depression) it was so much fun and I'm missing them so much already, I know it sounds crazy. They said they will come back and I hope they do, I won't hesitate to go again and this time I'm getting myself a VIP ticket and I will be at the venue early, early. I won't sleep there though (like some BABYZ did) because that just isn't in my nature to do so. I just need to shower. The only possibility for me to sleep there would be if me and my friends are taking turns with waiting at the venue and going to the hotel and even then I don't think I would do it.

Conclusion: It was a day I would never forget and I hope to see them again next year!

Good to hear you enjoyed it (: Just like you, I was ecstatic to hear that they were coming to Europe. I really did contemplate going to either France or Germany, but I realised later on that that was not realistic financially, especially not because I'm planning on moving out of house soon.
But it's great to hear that you had fun! I'm a bit envious now but the blame is entirely on me, haha
