Why gender bender ?

Hi, people !

As i'm bored, i read fanfic for pass the time, gender bender of TaeNy exactly. I don't have problems with girl X girl relationship ( except for , it's weird if it's too hard ....) but I ask : Why gender bender girl X girl relation ?

For example, TaeNy. if you're a Locksmith, you like their bond, closeness, etc .....and you don't mind that they're both girls but you put Taeyeon as a boy. If (I said if) Taeyeon read this fanfic about her and Fany having , maybe she'll feeling awkward to be a boy when she's a girl. Perhaps, she don't want to be a guy in this relation, same for Fany. I really really don't mind gender bender nor girlxgirl, but Why ?

Even after this post, continue to post gender bender, I like it ! ^_^ Taeng oppa is handsome !

Hahaha I feel you on this even though I've written a genderbended one myself.
To be honest, when I was new here in asianfanfics, I couldn't understand why people genderbend.
Now that I'm writting one, I guess I kind of understand.

*I think genderbended fanfics are more pleasant to read than actual girlxgirl lesbian stories.
At least, that's how I came to realize things.

I mean, suppose TaeNy came across a lesbian story about themselves, of course that would be awkward since in real life, they are just extremely close friends, not girlfriends. But if they came across genderbended, they'd probably just laugh at it since it's ridiculous.

And besides, fanfics are not to be taken too seriously. They are just stories that pop and people's brains making the characters based on real people.
