Positive: she is the mood maker of the group,she makes everyone smile and laugh. She is very friendly and approachable. if you have any problems or you feel down, then expect her to comfort and make you laugh again. She always wear a smile and doesn't show any problems. She is smart in her own ways. she is also a good listener, you could tell her your problems and if you are experiencing hardship, she'll be there and be with you. she is dependable and protective.

She would also volunteer in pet shelters, she would help other people. that's jeon seungmin. She always keeep her hatred towards others and lets time and happiness make that hatred disappear.This girl treats everyone like a family, well except those whom she doesn't like.

Background: 
She is born in US, California. she stayed there for 4-9 and a half years, and was looked after by her aunt. her father is in korea, while her mother is in japan. his father called her aunt and said to bring seungmin back to korea. which she did. her mother went back to her when she was back to korea. later did she knew that her parents are arguing with each other every night when she was already sleeping. one day, her mother took seungmin with her and went to Tokyo, Japan. there she was taught how to play instruments by her cousin. when she was watching the singers in japan, she tried to sing and her mother let her took singing lessons and ballet.

she asked her mother to let her take taekwondo, by that time, her hard work in taking those lessons paid off. her mother let her take dance lessons, since seungmin would be quiting her ballet, taekwondo, and singing lessons. In seungmin's school, her friend forced her to watch a concert. she was amazed by the group's skills, since then she dreamed of being an idol. When her mother said that they will go back to Cheongju to pack their things and live in Seoul, she already planned to be an idol.

When they arrived in Cheongju, she saw her father with another woman. her parents had a huge fight.they left cheongju and stayed in an apartment in Seoul. her aunt would always visit her and teach her how to sing, rap, dance, and play instruments, while her mom manages their company. She was taught everything about music, since her aunt is an instructor in an entertainment company. suddenly, their apartment wa caught in a fire. they were saved.

They stayed at her Aunt's house and continued with their normal life. Her mother was managing their business, her Aunt and Seungmin are hanging out together, practicing dances and stuffs.  she always play her guitar and performs infront of her mom and aunt to relieve their stress.when she was 11 years old, She made a promise for her mom and aunt, that she will become an idol and make them proud. She auditioned in JYP and luckily got accepted but after a month, she ask to leave the company because there are many trainees that are very competative and boastful. She experienced hardships there. There were so many trainees that are two faced, she hated it so she decided to leave. Seungmin tried to audition in SM Entertainment and got accepted, she trained very hard and did her best in the weekly and monthly evaluation, in order to remain in the company. her efforts and hard work is noticed and was chosen to debut in a girl group.
