Background : Jiyeon's parents have been divorced before she was born, resulting her in not knowing her father's identity. Her mother doesn't like to talk about her ex-husband to her much. Other than that, she's pretty much a normal high school girl who was born in London where(her mother says) her parents met and married. Around six years after their divorce, her mother brought her to live in Japan where her grandparents and most of their family members live, making that their hometown. But when Jiyeon turned 14, her mother sent her to Korea instead to further her high school studies there, thinking her father wouldn't be able to find her when the time comes where he would snatch her back.

Personality : People say, she looks cold and blunt because she doesn't smile. Well, she may seem cold and blunt for a person who lives with a single mother, but she's actually a really nice girl. Song Jiyeon didn't have much friends, considering people thought she's mean. No, specifically, she didn't have friends at all. Jiyeon tries to fit in everyday, wishing society would give her a chance. But adding on that she's a foreigner from Japan, students liked teasing her, knowing she wouldn't understand much. Well, you could call her a loner...she only had Jungkook, her boyfriend to talk to.
