Yerin's expression are limited most of the time. If her expression isn't her trademark pokerface, then it will definitely be one of boredom or frown/glare of disdain. The only times she smiles in public is when she smiles a sickeningly sweet and all too fake one that promises to bring nothing but doom and destruction.

Yerin carries herself proudly when in public. She walks confidently with her head held high, back straight and with her scars on proud display.

As for style, Yerin wears her hair cut in a short style. She likes to dress in trendy, casual, almost tom-boysih clothes. She always wears skinny jeans, t-shirts, tanktops, hoodies and leather jackets with sneakers on no matter what the ocassion is. Other than her cheerleading and school uniforms, Yerin would never be caught dead in a dress or a skirt.

Personality : 

At first glance, most people would simply dismiss Yerin as a normal girl, albeit a cold and arrogant one. 

On the outside, Yerin appears cold and distant. She always appears cool and calm, unfazed by anything and bored of everything.  She hardly shows any emotions and never smiles; her face is usually blank or with an expression of contempt or boredom. Yerin is also closed off to the world; she never reveals any thoughts or feelings. She is a person of very few words, she hardly talks to anyone unless necessary and even then, she uses as few words as possible. It is also impossible to get to know her, unless she happens to decide that you are worth her time, which is not very often. For those she doesn't want to talk to,, trying to approach her would only result in being ignored or chased away by her best friend, Amber. However, Yerin doesn't like talking about her past or her private life, not even to those she is willing to talk to, and trying to ask her about those topics will cause her to clam up and ignore you. Because of these actions, hardly anyone knows a lot about her, thus she is labelled as arrogant and mysterious. However, the only reason why she acts like this is because she fears that should anyone find out what her life is truly life, she would be mocked, pitied and outcasted.

Under her mask of a normal girl, however, Yerin is actually one extremely messed up individual. Because of her life at home, she often felt helpless when her parents were abusing here, and thus, she absolutely loathes being helpless. She likes power, she lives for it, and as such, she often bullies by ordering around people weaker than her just so she can feel a sense of power. It's the only reason why she's a cheerleader. Cheerleaders are near the top of the school's social pyramid.

Her mysteriousness combined with her beauty is what makes her the centre of attention is despite the fact that she is somewhat of a loner since no one dares approach her. This is especially so when it comes to the guys. They see her as somewhat of a challenge since no guy has ever had the honour of getting to know her well, and many of them try to get close to her. Although Yerin doesn't like how the guys are always chasing after her, she sometimes plays along, talking and smiling at them, and when she gets their hopes up, brutally insults and publicly humiliates them. Its not just the guys she humiliates and bullies. She doles out the same treatment to nerds, wallflowers and anyone not on top of the social pyramid. 

Yerin is also an extremely sadistic, revengefull and violent individual. She likes to draw out a person's humiliation for as long as she can because in her eyes, its getting her due back after all she has had to suffer all those years. 

Yerin is brilliant at lying.No one can ever tell when she is lying and when she is not. Yerin lives on lies, its the only way she stays sane, by lying to herself that she is in control of her life. She sees honesty as a weakness, something which she hates. Yerin does not make any effort to cover up the scars on her skin as they serve as a reminder to never be weak. 

But Yerin also has her good points. If she considers something or someone precious to her, she'll defend it with her life. However, she doesn't trust easily and her sanity depends on having things in her control with everything going her way. The moment she loses control, she breaks down into an anxiety attack, either curling up and pretending nothing exists except herself or simply going crazy and destroying everything in sight.

Amber Liu || 16 || Student || She's very bold, so bold that some say she has a death wish. She doesn't like following the crowd; she's adventurous and always ready to try new things regardless of the risk. She's very lazy and is always getting into trouble for gettiong into fights.Never gives up on anything. || At preschool. Most children tended to avoid Yerin because her scars looked scary, but not Amber. Everyday, she would march up to Yerin, marker in hand and connect her scars with colourful lines while she interrogated Yerin about her life. At first, Yerin had not repsonded but afte one and a half years, she gave up and answered Amber.  || The two of them are always together whenever possible, heads together and engaging in a hushed conversation. They know everything there is to know about each other, there are no secrets between them and they always run to each other first should they have problems. Amber is always doing something stupid to make Yerin laugh and Yerin only really smiles geniuenely around Amber. The two of them are also very protective of each other. Yerin frequently bosses Amber around, but Amber would just laugh and tell her she's annoying and to do it herself. Amber also acts as Yerin's bodyguard, chasing anyone Yerin does not welcome.

Friends : 

Choi Seongmi || 15 || Student || Seongmi is a shy and socially awkard girl that often tries too hard to please others. She's willing to do anything so long as it'll make others happy and at first she might seem like a coward but she does have a limit. And when she exceeds her limit, her scariness easily rivals that of Yerin's || Seongmi was the newest addition to the cheerleading team and Yerin had been bossing her around and forcing her to do outrageous things like stealing something from the boys' locker room. At first, Yerin didn't really take notice of Seongmi and only allowed her to hang around as shewould have gained a servant.However, when Yerin had asked Seongmi to pour water on a nerd's head, Seongmi flat out refused and exploded that why should she do all these things. This impressed Yerin, who had thought that Seongmi was a weakling who did everything she was told, and Yerin promoted Seongmi from servant to friend.  || Yerin still bosses Seongmi around a bit, but she's mindful of Seongmi's limit. The two of them often eat together and ocassionally talk to each other. They often help each other out during cheerleading practiice.

Background :

Yerin was the unwanted daughter of a teenage motherwho had to drop out of school after getting knocked up in a club. Her mother blamed Yerin for everything that went wrong in her life, often saying that if Yerin had not been born, she would have been able to get a good education and a good life. As such, Yerin's mother often took out her frustrations on her daughter through violence.

Her father was no better. Although he had accepted responsibilty of Yerin after getting her mother pregnant, he did not contribute anything at all. Instead, while Yerin's mother slaved over her work to earn barely enough to support the family, her father, rather than working, spent his time at the nearby bar, spending his wife's hard earned money and getting drunk. As if that wasn't bad enough, Yerin's father was a violent drunk. Almost every dawn, when he finally managed to drag himself home, he would storm thorugh the door, yelling and throwing things around as he looked for someone to beat up. Of course, with her mother at work during those times, Yerin had to bear the brunt of her father's drunken acts of violence.Her father would always apologise when he was finally sober again; he would beg for her forgiveness;buy her peace offerings. But he would also revert back to his old ways when dawn came.

Sometimes, even her mother would treat her normally, cooking meals for her and playing with her, but in the blink of an eye, she would go back to her old ways.

Thus, Yerin grew up distrustful of the people around her, unsure of whether they would hug her or hit her. While other children received love and gifts from their parents, what Yerin received was anger, frustration, hatred, beatings and scars.

        Yerin was helpless to do anything against her parents. After all, they were adults while she was only a small child. And although she simply took their abuse without shedding a single tear as she did not want to appear weak, the mental and emotional trauma inflicted on her was what started her obsession for power.

Everyday,Yerin had to go through hours of beatings, being burned by cigrattes, having glass bottles thrown at her, among many other acts, and although she even showed up at school with scars covering her arms, no one knew anything as Yerin would always play it off as having tripped in the playground or something as even at a young age, she knew that others would pity her if they knew what was happening, and she never wanted to be pitied; she wanted to be treated normally.

When Yerin was five, her mother gave birth to another baby girl, Mirin. From the moment she first set eyes on Mirin, Yerin was determined to protect her sister and never let her have to go through the pain of abuse.

 Yerin went to great measures to keep her sister away from the violence in the house, she would lock Mirin in their room whenever their parents were home, and would allow them to beat her up instead of her sister. 

But she couldn't always do that. As Mirin didn't go to school, everyday, Yerin would be forced to leave her sister alone in the house with their father, and although she rushed home everyday, more often than not, she would find Mirin cowering in a cupboard, covered in cuts and bruises, but nevertheless with a smile on her face to welcome her sister home.

Then one day, Yerin arrived home to find Mirin gone. Later, she would overhear her parents' conversation; Mirin had died from internal bleeding from the injuries inflicted.

Ever since that day, Yerin has blamed herself for Mirin's death and has vowed not to let the same thing hapen again, thus she defends all things precious to her so fiercely.

Personality : 

"Why hate on zombies? They're still human on the inside!"

That's Park Chanyeol for you. A naive, innocent boy who thinks that anything can be solved with a hug and that zombies can do no wrong. Chanyeol's the kind of guy that absolutely refuses to kill a zombie if it's after him. Instead, he'll probably try talking to the zombie and reasoning or befriending with it. It's a wonder the guy's still alive.

Personality wise, Chanyeol's someone who always looks on the bright side of things. No matter what he's seen or been through, he's still so against violence he refuses to carry a weapon for his own protection.. He's also bubbly and happy to the point where it borders on annoying, too curious for his own good, and nevers knows when to shut up. He's also unbelieveably stupid too. Honest is his middle name and clingy is his nature. He's gullible, but yet he sticks by his beliefs and morals like a leech.

Personal space and privacy are also things he's probably never ever heard of, seeing as how he not only feels the needs to share everything he feels and thinks, but also to know what everyone around him is thinking/feeling too.

How you met :

It was during the apocalyspe. Yerin had been looking down at the zombie whose legs she'd just cut off, her weapon raised as she tried to decide on a way to make its second death as long as possible. Just as she was about to strike the zombie, someone had grabbed her wrist and wrenched it to the side, while screaming that she shouldn't be torturing and killing innocent, misguided and sick people. When Yerin turned around to glare at the person, she came face to face with Chanyeol, who immediately began spewing some rubbish about how zombies were just sick people and it was wrong to kill them. Of course, Yerin had turned to leave, but Chanyeol just kept following her around, all the while talking about everything under the sun.

How you act around each other :

Unfortunately, for Yerin, nothing she says or does can stop Chanyeol from following her around like a lost puppy. She's constantly telling him to get lost, that he's annoying and that she'll throw him to the nearest zombie to be eaten, but no matter what, Chanyeol would always show up again within the next hour, usually stuck in some predicament that would require her help.

Yerin finds Chanyeol annoying as hell. He's always telling her about things she couldn't care less about and attracting the attention of zombies with his loud voice that doesn't seem to have a mute function. He always spoils her fun by stopping her before she can actually kill a zombie and his puns are so lame it makes her cringe eternally. He's more trouble than he's worth and Yerin always finds her questioning why she bothers putting up with him, especialy when he can't seem to keep his nose out of her business.
