on changing POV's

One of my petpeeves in fanfiction is changing POV's

I have been reading a lot of stories, whether published books, fairytales, and fanfiction, and my preferred format is none other than 3rd POV.

The storytelling is quite effective and you can have so many styles when writing this.

However, i am often open to the other POV types which are also wdely used.

2nd POV is something rare but i find it effective in angst stories where it grips your heart and tear it to pieces. This type of POV places you in the characters shoes and makes dramatics very effective.

1st POV is quite popular since it dwells on the emotions of the characters however, it is limited to the character's pers[ective and you won't know what goes with the other characters mind. so then we enter changing POV's

I can tolerate this sometimes like for example, 1 POV per chapter. But in cases where there are 2 or more POV changes in one chapter, I find hard to read, as the whole scene repeats in another perspective.

I don't hate it per say, but it just makes it diffucult for me to connect with the story.

Maybe it's just preference but i don't really want to read the exact same scene two or more times from different persepectives. This description is much more achieved when using the 3rd POV.

Sorry to those who will get hurt with this post but this is my views and preference.

I am not fond of changing POVs as well. I used to read 1st POVs...but now i feel 3rd POV is really the best.

jtbvh i can't stand authors changing povs.
like when i'm already in the mood of her
writing in 3rd pov and then she abruptly
changes to second it just kills the mood, ya'know?
