she's gifted to have this thing called " street smart", that's why she procrastinates and crams always. she finds most of her classes boring so usually, she wouldn't listen and will plug in her earphones and listen to music or:
(option a) — oogling on baekhyun who would get the creeps always like he's being watched which is true. 
(option b) — bugging her seatmate, joonmyeon. 
(option c) — throwing paper at sehun's back

she doesn't really excel in any subject but her grades are alright and she's a straight B student well exclude math. not only the subject hates her, the teacher also hates her for some reason. she's a member of the choral/music club along with yixing and jongdae. she's also part of the school band and plays the lead guitar. but other than that, she's not active in any clubs or any sports team.

every morning, she drags herself to school with a grumpy face because she's not a morning person and defines school as an hellhole. her only motivation to go tos school? baekhyun, friends, music club, baekhyun, baekhyun and baekhyun. did i mention baekhyun? oh yeah, baekhyun, the eyeliner dude.

—  we're going in circles / they only acknowledge each other as friends and seatmates. they will casually talk to each other and laugh at lame things which normal friends always do. but they're not that really close, like, sooyeon doesn't know much about his personal life and vice versa. joonmyeon would always let sooyeon copy from his works whenever sooyeon ask if she can copy because she's too lazy to do it or she can't understand a tiny bit. joonmyeon would freely allow her, the class once pointed out that they're the perfect match for each other. sooyeon laughed it off and thought it was ridiculous. but little did sooyeon know, joonmyeon is crushing on her ever since he met her but then it faded away when joonmyeon found out sooyeon has a crush on baekhyun. but that doesn't stop joonmyeon's infatuation because his feelings started to grow back and this time, he can't stop his feelings anymore as day passes by. joonmyeon started acting weird and tried to avoid sooyeon as much as possible, making sooyeon furious, thinking joonmyeon is being dramatic again even though she doesn't know the reason why he's avoiding her.

As she entered the school gates, she bumped into a guy. She cursed under her breath and can’t believe she was being an airhead on the first day of school. She cursed even more when her ipod fell on the floor. She bent down to pick it up but the guy she bumped into already picked it up for her. Sooyeon looked up and the guy smiled at her with a guilty look.

“I’m sorry, I’m really really sorry. Because of my stupidity, I broke your ipod” He said.

“No it’s okay” She smiled warmly and was about to take her ipod back but the guy refused to.

“No, no. It’s my fault. I’ll just buy you a new one” He insisted.

Sooyeon arched an eyebrow and thought he must be rich. She shrugged and agreed because she can’t say no and it’s better to receive than to give right? Wait that sounded wrong but she’s been dying to have a new ipod because her broken ipod .

That’s how they met and became friends actually but Joonmyeon felt something. He was already enthralled by Sooyeon and that was it, It was crush at first sight. He couldn’t stop thinking about her and Joonmyeon thought he was the luckiest guy because they were seatmates for the entire school year. He felt like crying, well, he really cried. What a Crybaby.

—  you speak to me with words, and i look at you with feelings  / Sooyeon being oblivious to her seatmate’s feelings, she started having a crush on baekhyun and wouldn’t stop bugging him. When joonmyeon found out about sooyeon’s big crush on baekhyun, he felt dejected and tried to move on because he thinks it’s wrong to have a crush on someone who already likes someone. He must admit, he really feels jealous whenever Sooyeon clings to Baekhyun or whenever Sooyeon looks at Baekhyun with loving eyes. Joonmyeon felt good when he can’t feel anything towards Sooyeon anymore after a month. But his “I don’t have a crush on sooyeon anymore” feeling immediately vanished when his heart started to beat fast when Sooyeon pinched his cheeks. After that incident (that he discovered his feelings grew back again), he started avoiding Sooyeon which is pretty hard for him. Sooyeon thinks he’s acting odd and became furious as well. Every time Sooyeon tries to corner Joonmyeon to ask what’s wrong but Joonmyeon will always find a way how to escape. The guys and the girls of the first class knows why Joonmyeon is avoiding Sooyeon and they also know, Joonmyeon likes Sooyeon. Sooyeon is just oblivious whilst Joomyeon is a coward to admit his feelings.

—  i'll wait for you, i promise you  / The boys decided to help the poor cry baby. They kept on telling him to man up and so does the girls. So the entire time, Joonmyeon avoiding Sooyeon, he was planning a confession with the help of his friends. He decided to write a cheesy letter.

Dear Sooyeon,
You must be mad at me right now because I’m avoiding you but trust me, it’s hard for me to do it. The reason why I have to is because I need to stop my feelings for you because at the latter, I will only end up being hurt if I continue this feelings because I know you like someone else. The moment I laid eyes on you, the moment I talked to you and apologized because I broke your ipod, my heart started to beat abnormally fast.

Even though everyone hates how annoying you are, I love every flaws you have. I love how you laugh and you’re the sweetest person I ever met. Baekhyun must be stupid not fall in love with you. I promise I’ll be the man that you want and try not to be a cry baby. I know this is a lame letter but as I write this out, I’m pouring this with feelings.

Baekhyun gave this letter along with a coffee from starbucks and a penguin plushie to Sooyeon. Sooyeon thought Baekhyun gave it to her and was ecstatic but that was really the plan, that baekhyun should give the letter and gifts to Sooyeon and not Baekhyun. When Sooyeon read it, she felt a tear slipped down and looked for Joonmyeon. She found him on the student council office and hugged him (being a clingy kid she is). Joonmyeon was surprised but felt happy. Sooyeon agreed that she'll let him court her because she really thinks it's too fast to agree to be his girlfriend. They became closer and Joonmyeon really kept his promise to wait for her.

scene requests: 
— the girls will go on a group date with some guys they don't know (only one of their girl classmate know them so she invited sooyeon and the girls) it's literally like a blind date. the guys get jealous and apparently, followed the girls and spied on them.
