Continued: And I hear people complaining the vampires in Twilight are not 'real vampires'. No offense intended but, what real vampires? No vampires exists the authors are free to make them however they please. Vampires, werewolves, witches whatever mythical creature out there do not have to be told in a certain way. You can make them however you want nobody owns these genres. Personally, I like my vamps drinking blood and being with the species within their world, but, if an author wants to write vampire/human hey they can for all I care as long as the story interests me that's all I care about.

I agree. I thought the movies were okay actually, sure they were dull and not very exciting but they aren't a 'sin' to read the books or enjoy the movies as some haters make it out to be. I feel bad for normal Twilight fans that get lumped because of the crazies in the fandom. As for why I like it...I don't know. I feel that, you sometimes don't have to have a reason for liking or disliking something ^^ You like what you like. DeviantArt is pretty bad when it comes to Twilight, well the users I mean not the site itself -__- Some users on there actually bullied/harassed many normal Twilight fans and tell them they have 'No reason to like Twilight' or shouldn't have a reason I mean.

I read the first book and it was okay, (the second bore me midway, so I stopped and just waited for the movies to be made... I fell asleep at the first movie, I can't remember a thing from the rest, didn't pay attention at all) but it was more like fanfiction than an actual teenfic (dunno, I've read better). It's mostly overrated (okay, A LOT) and everything overrated attracts hatred :\ for me, Edward's not a vampire... noup... noup... he's a fairy. He's a fairy for me. He sparkles and he's a fairy *gets slapped* And Bella's just... ugh... dunno, had more sympathy for the other vamps and the werewolves then the main leads.
I'll stick with local folklore, nothing beats that xD
All in all, don't go with the flow. Judge yourself what you like and dislike and if you like Twilight, that's okay. If you don't, that's okay too. I personally love Anne Rice's Interview with the Vampire and the following two novels, so I don't really care what people say about them lol

Well... I don't watch Twilight - just like how I don't watch HP. But I'm fine with HP but not Twilight. I think it is really the characters in Twilight that is annoying.
Like Bella - unlike Hermoine - is neither smart nor is she of a strong character. Her life literally stops moving the moment Edward leaves her to protect her. Like jeez, if you really loved Edward just go and find him. Ask his family where is he or something. Find him if you really want him. And also, the whole Bella accepting Jacob's advances even though she will 'always choose Edward' is just so disgusting to me.
But I think what really turn me off is how Bella/Kristen Stewart used to claim that she love Edward/Robert Pattison but turn around cheating on him. It's just so smh.
Also! Twilight don't make sense. You know, vampies don't have blood right? So theoretically speaking, Eddie and Bella can't have . Like jeez, how does Edward even impregnate her without inserting his... uh... lil brother in without an . Like teach me how to have with a limp please? (oh god, too graphic. /hides)
A.N.Y.W.A.Y. I think why Twilight receive so much hate is because 1) It is a thoughtless movie 2) The characters 3) The acting 4) They made vampires look like freaking weak es 5) They made a werewolf and a vampire fight over a girl. Like wtf man? 6) Vampires. Sparkle. And. Shimmer? 7) Kristen Stewart and her unfaithfulness.

I don't know why. I don't like or hate it either. I only like watching movie xD
