Coffee For Two

Title: Coffee For Two
Main Characters: Cho Kyuhyun & Minah (OC)

Minah feels a little disheartened when she sees that the customer walking into the shop was not the one she thought it would be. A small frown appears on her face when she looks away from the young girl that had just entered the shop, who she had mistaken for someone else.

She doesn't even realize she was frowning, or she had let out a sigh when a co-worker of her's pointed it out. "Yah, Minah."

She turns to the source of the voice, and she doesn't even need to guess who it was. She'd recognize his voice anywhere. "What?" she suddenly snaps, narrowing her eyes into slits as she looks at Lee Donghae with a sour look.

But Donghae is unfazed by this. He only rolls his eyes and nudges her by the side. "What's up with you? Your shift had only started a few minutes ago, yet you're already in a bad mood." he points out as he joins her behind the counter. They were free to talk and chat for a while since there were still no new customers around to serve and the neighboring school a few blocks away from the shop still had not dismissed their students, and whenever they were dismissed, that was the time that the shop would be jam-packed.

Minah only scrunches her nose before turning to look away, placing her chin on top of her hand as she continues to stare at the door, just waiting for him to arrive. "Nothing." she dully tells Donghae.

Donghae lets out a snort, nudging her by the sides. "Don't try and hide it. I know you're disappointed since he's late. Aren't you, Inah?" he was teasing her, and she was sure of it. But his teasing only made Minah even more annoyed with him.

"Stop it." she tries to push him away from him, but Donghae is made of muscles and Minah has none. So she only huffs instead and even scowls at her co-worker. "Don't call me that."

"Call you what?"

"..."

"Go on, say it. Call you what?"

"I-I-Inah."

"What? I couldn't hear you, Inah. "

"I said don't call me Inah okay!" she throws him a glare, warning him that if he came closer, she would pulverize him with her knife-throwing, flame-holding glare. "Only.. only.. only.." but she's at a loss for words right then, so she bows her head in embarrassment.

Donghae chuckles and ruffles her hair, making her scowl back up him again. "Oh, come on. I already know, only Kyuhyun calls you that, right?" he lets out another chuckle, and it causes Minah to blush a deep shade of red. "It's not very original, to be honest. But you like it nonetheless, don't you?" he pokes her side, and this time, she's unable to look at him in the eyes. "Don't you? Well, anyways, it's only been 5 minutes since 4:30, he'll come around soon." he reassures her, even smiling at her as he did so.

Minah turns his back to him, taking in deep breathes to calm herself down because she could already literally feel the heat creeping up to her face. It only took for one name to be said to make her all shy and embarrassed like she was right then.

Kyuhyun.

Cho Kyuhyun.

That was his full name.

Even if she said it to herself, in her head, she still felt like giggling after hearing it. It was obvious as to why, and do you even need to ask? It was because Minah likes him. Or maybe her feelings for him has expanded and it couldn't be merely described with the word 'like' anymore. Maybe.. it was already love. Minah did have a feeling that from the first moment she laid eyes on him, she thought that was what people called 'love at first sight'.

She first met him, five months ago when she was still a newbie in the shop and classes had just started that very same month. She needed the money, and she was already capable of time management, so she decided to get the job. And voila, she ended up in the coffee shop. Even though with her lack of knowledge about coffee and such, she still tried her best to strive hard and give it her all for the sake of her salary and the customer's happiness.

It was Minah's third day working when a group of rather noisy, rowdy and funny boys entered the shop, making Minah frown due to all the ruckus they were making as they made their way to the counter from the door. Donghae had told her then that they were regulars and that she should ignore the fact that there were only five of them then.

Minah was a little eager to know them since, they were absolutely five drop-dead gorgeous  male beings and she couldn't imagine what the rest looked like if there friends were already this handsome. There really was without a doubt that they were handsome, and that was Minah's first thought about the group that called themselves 'Super Junior'.

"You'll have the usual, hyungs?" Donghae piped up from behind Minah, smiling kindly at the five boys. One boy had caught Minah's eyes though, and it made her bight her lower lip as she practically stared at the one in the middle.

"Yeah, we will." one of them said, and he began to say their orders, all five different kinds of coffee that Minah had trouble making when she was practicing. Donghae had told her not to worry, because he would be helping her and she had let out a sigh of relief when he told her that. As the five boys made their way to the tables outside of the shop, Minah took one last glance at the dark-haired boy with beautiful pair of equally dark-colored eyes.

"Come on, Minah, help me out here." Donghae said and that snapped her out of her senses. She rushed off to his side to do what he asked her to do; to help him. She was already doing fine and was half-way through the frappe she was making, when a voice behind her made her jump.

"Excuse me, miss." it was not deep and husky, but it still sounded manly to Minah's ears.

She turns around and her heart skips a beat just as her eyes widen in absolute surprise. "Um, yes?" she found it hard to talk to him, much more move her feet to go nearer to him. "What's the-the problem?"

"I'd like to add another white chocolate frappe and one black expresso, no sugar to our order." he flashes her a sweet smile, one that sent Minah's stomach into a summersault. "Alright?"

Minah could do nothing but only nod, because she was extremely shy to hi that day and every other day whenever they met. She took in his features, and how handsome he really was up close. His jaw was sharp and his cheekbones were slightly visible. His lips were plump and looked so sinful and inviting. His eyes were dark, the same color with his hair and at that time, Minah could not stop thinking about how attractive this boy in front of her is.

She gulped. "Alright." she replied weakly.

Surprisingly, it made him chuckle. Minah almost fainted when he did, the sweet melody he was producing as he laughed made her crack up a smile. "You're new? I haven't seen you here before."

Minah only managed to nod, seeing as how she could not do anything more rather than nod and stare at him. He was truly a feast for the eyes.

"I'm Kyuhyun, by the way. And those were my classmates back there, you'll get to meet the rest soon." he had stuck out his hand and Minah was surprised.

She was even more surprised when she had took it and shake it slowly. His hands were soft against her rough ones. "I'm Minah."

"Eh? What'd you say?" he leaned forward, his ears only a few inches away from her face. "Inah? Your name's Inah?"

Minah shook her head rapidly. "N-no! Minah, my name's Minah."

Kyuhyun chuckled again, and he winked at her. "Alright, Inah." with the tone that he used, she knew he had been joking and that he had heard her the second time. But ever since that day, he'd always call her 'Inah' and even though she didn't like it at first, she had grown fond of it. Just like how she had grown more fond of him.

"Psst. Min." it was Donghae who had nudged her by the sides again, making her snap back to reality. She blinks a few times before turning to him with a slightly annoyed look. Donghae only jerks his head to the side, motioning for her to look forward.

So she does. And then she smiles.

It was Kyuhyun, who was alone this time, walking towards her with a sincere smile of his own. He was still in his uniform, and had his bag swinging on one shoulder behind him. Before Minah could greet him just like every other day, it was Kyuhyun who greeted her first this time. "Hey, Inah."

It was always like that everyday, and everyday, she chuckles at the nickname he had given her. "Hey." she greets back, her smile widening. "The usual?"

"Coffe for two, please." he says, the smile never leaving his face as well.

"Hm?" Minah looks behind his shoulder, only to see none of the other members of his group "Super Junior" were behind him. It was only Kyuhyun. "Are you expecting someone?"

"Yes. I am. Just serve the coffee when you're down with your shift, alright? I'll be waiting for you." he smiles even wider, his eyes twinkling and before she could get lost staring into them, Donghae cuts in.

"Wait, dude, are you asking her out on a date?"

Minah suddenly feels the heat creeping up to her cheeks as she looks down, avoiding Kyuhyun's gentle gaze. "Donghae, what're you-"

"Yeah, I am, hyung."

Minah turns her attention back to him and in unison with Donghae, they both say; "You are?"

Kyuhyun only nods, laughing a little and Minah finds herself squealing and screaming inside. She was trying so hard to keep her feels and excitement to herself. "You better not turn me down, Minah."
