This year doesn’t seem like our year now,

As 2014 feels so depressing and sad,

Many are dying from tragedies,

Let’s pray for them,

Pray for Flight MH 370,

Pray for Sewol Ferry disaster,

Pray for Ukraine's brink of war,

Pray for Indonesia’s Mount Sinabung eruption,

Pray for Nigeria's girls who are being abducted,

Pray for Chile who is experiencing earthquakes, tsunamis, and wildfires,

Pray for Floree which is sinking,

Pray for the world,

Hoping there will be no blood shed,

Hoping that everyone will be fine.

But our hope for survivors,

Our hope for no war,

Is slowly decreasing,

But we must stand strong,

Even if the poor victims won’t be able to live,

Or able to come back to us,

Remember to have faith in ourselves,

Remember that they’re watching from somewhere,

Anywhere.

Those victims who will never come back to us will perish psychically,

But they will never perish mentally or emotionally to the families,

To the friends,

To the society,

To the country,

To the world.

Everything happens for a reason even if we can’t accept it,

It’s just that who ever made us took them for a reason,

Made it for a reason,

It’s fate,

Our destiny,

We can’t escape it

But it doesn’t mean we can’t change it.
