He was born in Gongju, South Korea. His first name was Han, but then he and his brother were adopted by Kim family and then he changed his name to Kim, like his older brother. He at first want to join at SM Entertaiment, like his brother, but then he changed his mind, after being rejected fourth time, to YG Entertaiment.
His trainee life was hard. He loves the writing song training, rapp training and dancing training. Even if he doesn't have a sweet voice like his brother, who were debuted when he was a teenager and became a very popular singer, he still trying hard to surpas his brother more. He was lacking in singing, but successed in rapping and writing song.
