Plagiarism Update 2

I have removed the previous blog post because guys, it isn't okay to send the mean messages bullying her into taking down stories. Plagiarizers are definitely the ones in the wrong, but you all should not make your hands dirty by engaging in foul activity as well. I just wanted one of you guys to report the instagram to the moderators for plagiarizing, and allow them to take action from there. While I really appreciate you guys fighting for me, I don't want any of you to have to suffer negative repirations for your actions when it wasn't any of your faults.

The previous "My Pet Luhan" plaigarizer contacted me saying that that was not her instagram and that she was upset for being wrongfully accused. While I cannot validate whether or not the two are really tied, I give my sincerest apologies if in fact they really are two completely different people.

The instagram account has taken down the stories where they hadn't received permission from authors, including My Pet Luhan, so that is no longer a problem. They have given me an apology for posting the fic without my permission, however, they had claimed that they intentionally didn't leave credits because instagram isn't a story publishing site and they assumed they didn't need to. I'm sure a few of you posess similiar mindsets, so I want to tell you this before you unintentionally offend somebody else.

PLAGIARISM IS PLAGIARISM NO MATTER WHERE YOU POST IT.

Also, if you ever ask an author to report or translate a story and post it somewhere, and they agree, leave proper credits with the name of the original author as well as where you can find the original story. When authors give you permission, they don't mean that you can just take the story, post it somewhere else, and gain all the fame and fans for the hard work of somebody else without giving them credits. Simply saying "Credits to the original" owner is never okay, whether you're reposting fanfics on sites, reposting edits on tumblr, reposting art on devianart, or whatever. "Credits to the original" owner is only somewhat acceptable to the extent where you have photos or something saved onto your computer, and you really have no idea who the original poster was. Obviously this is not applicable to fanfics because you have to continuously go to the original author's story page to copy and paste the chapters.

If any of you guys ever repost my story anywhere else in the future, I will never forgive you. I don't believe that "you didn't know what you were doing", or was "just trying to get the fic more readers" or whatever other excuse you may spout. The fact that plagiarism is wrong isn't a sudden realization that hits once somebody calls you out on it, it's an idea that has been repetitive well throughout society, your school life, and etc.

As the proufound artist Rihanna once said, "Don't tell me your sorry when you're not. When I know you're only sorry you got caught."
