My Life

History: Life for Eun Hee is not all that well. Her mother died when she was giving birth to her, so it was tough not having a mother around. But to make matters worse, her father died when she was 5 because of a bad diesease that was spreading. So basicaly she never knew how it felt to be loved by her parents or anyone. She did have a older brother though, and he was the only good thing in her life. He is older than her by three years, so she looked up to him a lot. Bae In Ho, her brother always had her back for her when times where tough. Since he was also a orphan at the age of 8, he was mature and knew how to handle things properly. So he took care of her at all times, it was as if he was her father. He always helped her out with what she needed, and he never told her to become a carrer or anything, he just kept her content with what she needed to do around the house. Sometimes their pay gets very tight because it's just them supporting each other, so Eun Hee has to take some precautions and work at a young age. Her brother worked on the farm, while she sewed some blankets and sold them. She always kept her hands on things and created whatever would be good to sell for money. 

She's good with 'hands on things', so it explains why she's so good at making blankets. But blankets weren't her only specialty, she also knew how to tie knots perfectly, which came in handy for farmland. A lot of people bought them because the knots were good for pulling barrles around their farm. She thought about more ways to create helpful things, so she started to create pitchforks, for throwing out lose material. She also encountered a tough time when her brother fell ill. She had to do all the supporting by that time, and it was very hard on her, but it only made her 'hands on' better and better each day. Once her brother recovered he praised her, and even said she was a 'prodigy' in the arts of hand working. She took his complement into deep thought, and since her brother, whom she looked up to, praised her she was determind to always put her hands in use.

Personality: Eun Hee is discribed as a soft gentale girl, considering her parents left her at a young age and she was forced to become a orphan, she had no sence of luck. She always feels sad or insecure because of the depression of not having parents. When she was 6 years old there were kids who always used to make fun of her for not having parents, and she just felt like dying. She wanted to ran away at that time, even though she was very little, but her brother always helped her cope with it, and made her feel better. She was the type of person who took words seriously, and if they were mean words she would even cry. She's super sensitive so telling her something mean wouldn't be a good thing. Although when she recives complements from people like her brother, she feels rather happy and warm. Whenever she hears people talking about her she would care a lot about what they say, and she would take it to heart. It's tough for her but she had no parent to guide her to the right ways. Even though she had her brother, he was still only three years older than her, she needed a mother who can give good advice and hug her when she's depressed. 

She also gets the feeling of abandonment a lot, which makes her even more insecure. She doesn't talk to anyone, but that doesn't mean she doesn't have anything to say. Her state of mind is always hurdling towards the bad things first, so her passions and frustrations are all barried inside her, waiting to be let out. She kept all her thoughts, frustrations, passions, and ambitions locked up inside her, where she kept quite. Even though she dosen't like to talk to anyone, she still wants to know how it is to make friends. Throughout her whole childhood she had to bare with all the teasing, so she doesn't exactly know how to make a friend. Because of this she's very anti-social and hates to meet new people, the only person she's actully ever comfortable with is, Oh Jung Kyu. I know I said she is anti-social, but Jung Kyu, is just like her brother. While the kids made fun of her at school, he was the only one who stood up for her, which made her admire him a lot. She admires people who work hard, and are determind, like her brother.  So if she happens to lay her eyes on someone who seems to work hard at what they do, then she would never stop staring. She only admires from afar though, she never would dare approach someone and talk, thats way to uncomforting.

Her depression is very bad, to the point where she started crying herself to sleep. Her bad past, and current preasnt (of being reaped) is very hurtful for her, that she couldn't help but cry. To remember, she's a very sensitive person, so the feeling of being taken away from her brother is like taking away a childs milk— very bad. But she always kept her brothers words in her head: 'Always look up, even when the world is looking down.' That motivated her to always keep trying until she could see her brother again, and make him proud of her. Her brothers encouraging words made it feel as if he was actully there with her, which occasonaly made her feel his presance and it made her feel better. People also used to mock her and call her 'That orphan' instead of her real name, which hurt her a lot.

Who visits before you leave:  Her brother and friend, oh Jung Kyu. They all hugged very tightly, and both her brother and friend gave her words of encouragement and love. Even though she didn't want to let them go, she had to so she cried the whole time.

Interview 

How do you act during the interview:  She doesn't like talking to new people, but her brothers words echoed in her head and it made her surprsingly social. She laughed with the interviewer, answered his questions non-chalantly, and even smiled. Off course she did this becuase she knew that out there somewhere her brother was watching her, and she wanted him to be proud of her. But there were times were if the interveiwer asked personal questions about her parents, she would hesitate and blink. Her mind would go blank and all she could do was look down while fiddeling with her fingers and mutter, "M-my parent's d-d-died." Off course this would make her selfestem drop lower and just go on with the interview sadly.
