Soeun was raised in Seoul, but her family moved to New York when she just 7 years old. She can speak english fluenty and has a lot of friends in New York. She is the only child in her family. It's make her got what she wants. She had a normal students life. She joined a music club in her school, and really love to sing. She also dream to be a singer or idol. Her parents really protectived and make her a quite innocent girl even she's living in big city.
Her friends recognized her talent and suggest her to join SM Audition that held in New York since she can speak Korean. At first, she hesistated her decision and refused to go to audition. She afraid her family did not approved her decision. She told her parents about her dream becoming a singer. Her father did not approved it. He want Soeun inherit his business.
Soeun took decision to rebel. She cut her hair and leave her house. She did not want to inherit her father's business. She went to SM Audition and got accepted. She finally moved to Korea at age 16. She want to choose her own life.
First impression of Soeun people make think she's arrogant or hard to approach maybe because she has a sharp eyes gazes. When she meets new people, she will approach them first. She really friendly and talkative. Her bubly personality make people love her. She love joking sometimes she make her funs of her unnies just to make them annoy, but after that, she will qucikly apologize to them. She really playful and energetic. She also love to smile. She also love to speak in English, just want to annoy her members.
Soeun really responsible, even she really playful but she will make sure all the members get ready on time. She also the first one to wake up. She also really hate to cry in front of her members, because she afraid she will make them worry. She really a strong person. Despite all of that, she really love to smile and act cute. When the members sad she will try to cheer them up by using her aegyo.
Soeun also have her weakness. She really hate people ask about her weight, she might hitting the person. She also did not like people force to do something that she did not like to do like acting sweet-like girl. She snored during her sleep. She also love to use others members accesesories without telling them. She really competitive, if she find people will beat her, she will use dirty tactic to win.
On stage, Soeun has her own persona, she will all smile and never show her tired face to fans. When, she dance, her charisma will overflowing and she will be in her world. She can act cute and she will recognized if fans filming her. She will always waving her hand. She not really good at answering questions. Sometimes, she stutter on her words. She lacks on confidence when they having an interview.

MEETING. Soeun met Minho during her trainee days. She love practice till dawn to improve her vocal and dancing skills. Minho met her when he heard someone still practicing and he try to cheek it out. After that, MInho help Soeun to improve her dance skills. He also teach Soeun the right pronouciation. Soeun has a weird pronaouciation since she growing up in New York. They always met and ended up being so close. Soeun become so attached to Minho. They become inseparable 'close-friend.'
