Perspective.

What is your perspective towards life?

Everyone has a different look towards life.

But it all depends on how you see things.

Do you see things in a positive or negative light?

Every different perspective holds a different aftermath.

But,

If you see the world in dark light,

The only thing visible to the world would be your eyes.

Because your eyes are the windows to your soul.

Your eyes never lie.

Though the scars still remain, the pain has already subsided.

It's time to man up and continue soldiering forward. 

But can I?

See the world in positive light.

Am I able to?

I've shed enough tears.

I'm strong now.

But with strength comes a cold heart.

There is a price to pay.

Kind, friendly, cheerful;

Cold, uncaring, distant.

There is no gain with no pain.

All these hidden underneath a broken mask.

They don't know me.

And they never will.

My perspective towards life, 

It hurts.

Because the only thing the world sees,

is a pair of light brown eyes.
