Personality:
QUIET, PRESERVED, VULNERABLE- she didn't mean to be such person but indeed it is who she is. Hyojin has a contrast differents from her brother. she is really preserved, shy and quiet. she rarely speaks out what is in her mind. people might think she is arrogant. in contrary, she has issues with trusting new people around her, that's why she can't easily befriends with a person she has just known. she tends to bottle up her feelings to herself. she listens to her friend's rants and problems, but then she bottled up everything inside her, sometimes she could only just cry in her brother's embrace without telling everyone the big burden inside her. the reason behind this is she doesn't want anyone to worry for her. but in contrary, everyone would worry more about her. the only people she trusted so far is her brother and his friends. she also has few friends, but she is still afraid if one day she told them her stories, they would leave her without a trace.
CUTE, FUNNY, SHY- in front of close friends, she is really cute and funny. she often nags and whines to her brother. it's the other side of her. she only open up to several persons including her brother's friends. they are like the second family of hers. to them, she would act really sweet, cute but sometimes a little bit funny. somehow, that's what attracts them to make friends with her. it takes years for her brother's friend to make her show this cute part of hers.
POKERFACED-DOL GIANNA- this is the image the company assigned to her. it's not much of a different from her personality during her trainee days. since she rarely shows expressions back in those days. on the stage, she'd be the fierce charismatic rapper and dancer. but during shows, she'd be the chic city girl who rarely speaks, answers when needed, barely shows her smiles, and portray a strong charismatic image through her cold acts by the cam. off the cam, she'd not have much of a difference. she would remind silent and have slight changes of expressions. she'd quietly do her things without saying even a single word even when the members are trying to make her laugh.
Background:
She is never afraid of her dad. she respects her dad the way she respects her mother. both of them were her role model. her parents sees what other people couldn't see in her and her brother. they fully supported both kids to reach their dreams. not to mention, they even buys some nice clothes for Topp Dogg the day they debuted. Mrs. Jeon even stated in an interview that she would do what ever it takes to see both her kids shine on the stage.
