I'm sorry.

It's been weeks since I've been able to properly update and I apologize.

I've just been really busy lately, which is beyond me. Normally I have no life. Nothing to do on the weekends, no plans, nothing. But ever since Thanksgiving, I've been caught in this whirlwind of activity. On top of school, I'm taking part in my best friends quincinera, I have Confirmation classes I need to attend several times a month, I do volunteer work at a local store, babysit, and I also have all my family's things to go to also and I have a big family *11th out of 13 grandchildren right here* so there's a lot of parties and stuff. Plus it's near Christmas so things at the store are busy and my family has all these events and ahhhh....>.<

And then yesterday, there was a shooting at my mom's work.

Living in California, you hear about shootings and the like all the time but you never think it would happen so close to home. Ecspecially when I live in such a quiet community.

Anyway, so the shooting had occured in the building my mom was meant to be in. At the time though she had been in a meeting in the facility next door so thank God nothing happened to her. But she knew the shooter, who randomly shot 3 employees and killed 2 and then himself. She knew so many people in that building and so it really affected her cause the company-Edison-hasn't released the names of the victims yet.

I really never thought something like this would ever happen so close to me.

It really makes me think, you know?

Anyway, I'm sorry for not updating but as you can see my life is a little hectic right now.

I would update today but I have a practice for my friend's quince and I also have a crapload of homework and a book report/essay thing due on Wenesday *I haven't read the book yet* and so I honestly don't have the time.

But I do go on break on the 21st so you can expect an updating spree.

I'll make it up to you all, I promise.
