Trainee Life: She before auditioning  for Cube Ent, went to auditions in SM and YG Ent but got rejected. Later she made in Cube Ent. The first year of her trainee days she focused in improve her dancing because that was lacking the most in that area, she met Eunji a few months after she started in Cube and quickly they get along. She was friendly towards the other trainees but none of them was closer to her, instead they choose to ignore her. Interaction:  The first time they met was in the backstage of Inkigayo thanks to Crushelle, after the debut stage of Red Velvet , Hyerin said to BTS that she admired them because they were very good rappers and their choreographys were amazing. They congratulated her for finally debuting and Jin told her that she was very cute and pretty making here a little flustered. They keep encountoring in music shows so eventually they exchange phone numbers starting to texting and call each other. She often visit BTS in their dorm because Red Veltvet became pretty close to the boy group (because Crush it's Jin's younger sister) despite them saying that they didn't want to be close to any girl group. Everybody in both groups could tell that Hyerin liked Jin but didn't understand why one minute he was sweet, cuddly and a skinship monster with her but then distant. Hyerin was afraid that Jin was playing with her and they had a fight because of that, ending in them not talking for two weeks, then Jin finally decided confess to Hyerin saying that he had fallen for her but didn't know how to express it.
