Personality :

Minyeon is a mixture of both his older siblings. he could be really funny, friendly and out-going like N. but sometimes he could be as quiet and thoughtful as Ae-Sook. he is also a hard-working guy, he wouldn't stop doing until he get things right. when he hangs out with his friends, he would be the talkative and happy-go-lucky guy. but during training, he would be seen as this serious looking guy who won't stop until he reaches the top. beside of it all, he is a very perfectionist guy who doesn't mind staying up late and restarting things over the top over-and-over again until he get things not just right but perfectly perfect. he is very emotional and impulsive. sometimes when he was angry he would throw things away or punch whatever in front of him. and he has a really terrible moodswings. he could be this happy in the morning and turns angry or sad the next few hours. and one more to add up, he is really messy and disorganized. if you look into his room, it is much of a shipwreck and if it is not for their manager, he would have forgotten which schedule he is going one time.

On the camera/stage: he would be the serene and quiet member who don't really speak chitty-chatty at all. during interview or talk session, he'd be the chic member, a twist of his natural traits but that's what the company made him to do. on the stage, his fierce charisma flows out. the fans sees him as the "tiger" of the stage.

Off the cam/stage: during fan meetings, which are off the camera and not on the stage, he'll turn into the unpredictable talkative and cheerful guy doing lots and lots of fanservices to the fans.

Background :

he is the closest to N, N was just like a bestfriend to him. but to ae-sook, he is not distant neither because aesook always knows how to handle him, aesook was like a replacement for his mother to him. although his mother is still alive, minyeon prefers talking to aesook because aesook knows better about young generation. minyeon always thinks his mother is too old fashioned because she said that he can't be an idol like his brother and he has to help his mother doing the bakery thingy which the boy isn't really interested in.

the kids werent that close to their father neither. all the three have grown up in the fear of getting spanked by their father. once N and Aesook got the permission to leave and study in Japan, they tagged the youngest together with them so that the three are save from his father's corporal punishments. the punishments left a great wound on the trio's heart and body without the father knowing.
