Hello! So who else has been waiting for this debut? I've been watching her since K-Pop star season 1, and even though she didn't debut with SuPearls, she's still one of the most talented singers to debut.

I'd like to talk about her background though. Many people are hating on her because they think she is a 'black girl trying to put herself into the k-pop world where she doesn't belong.'

EXCUSE ME. She is HALF Korean and half African American. Her father, of African descent, left her when she was a child. Her mother, of Korean descent, raised her in South Korea since she was a baby. Honestly, Lee Michelle is just as much KOREAN as any other person living there, she grew up in that country, and Korean is her first language.

Now, many people think she came from the US, but she was actually born and raised in South Korea. Why is that such a big deal?

I love her and hope she does well, even without YG, I think she can make it. I have high hopes for her!
