There is no way Sopa can do this with the because of what papercut had said, they are all original works therefor they aren't piracy at all. Piracy is copying someones work and saying it's their own, fan art, fan fics, fan vids, etc are all self made therefor they have no grounds to do such thing. I believe this is probably a scam or someone is overacting because, SOPA an American organization, and by law in America you have freedom of speech in all forums as long as it's not copying others work. So you can sign the petition to be safe but if they are even actually threatening to take down fan-based works then that is in violation of peoples rights.
