Style: Ears are pierced twice in the lobe. She has no tattoos, but a scar along her ribcage on her left side. Her eyes are very unique, being a siren her eyes are much more vibrant. When she's in the water her eyes turn into a mixture of blue and green. When she's on land in her human appearance she has dark brown eyes. Because she spends so much time in the sun her hair is a golen brown and her roots are black. She wears a neclace all the time, a gift from her Siren mother, and a bracelet from her foster mother.

Tail/Fins: The tail fins are a glistening shades of  aqua blue, silver and.gold Gleaming with a metalic shine. There are two pectoral fins on both sides of her large fin near her hips, and two small soft dorsal fins at the end of her large fin.

Landwalker or Waterdwellar? Zhen loves the ocean much over the land, even though it doesn't seem like it to anyone else. She has a secret grotto where she collects things from both land, and ocen in. At night she goes to the top of a cliff to watch the ocean, and sing to the stars.

Siren: Maybe the most indifferent siren alive. She doesn't act like most and kill sailors for sport. She actually saves them from time to time. Her ablility to heal with a single touch makes her a rare kind even amung other sirens. Only saving innocent people, merfolk and human alike. And her singing has never been heard by any of her peers, because she only sings to stars on calm nights when there are no ships in sight, when everyone is asleep. 

WHAT IS YOUR STORY?

Personality: Zhen is a very loner type of person, she doesn't depend on anyone, but longs to be with someone, so hanging around them in the background is quiet common for her. She's know for her shy actions with people, and hardly speaks.  Zhen is a fearless mermaid taking on more dangerous tasks, however when it comes to interaction with others of her kind or human she shys away. She takes to human, and merfolk about the same, knowing each have flaws they're blind too. When Zhen finally talks its soft and sweet, humans find it difficult to nof focus on her speaking, it's entrancing a little bit which is why she sings at night out of fear of hurting someone. 
Zhen enjoys watching other people be happy. She can feel as they feel, making her a great healer among her peers. Zhen has a special healing ability, unlike most merfolk who kill in their spare time, Zhen learned to heal, like her mother.
With all of her kidness that people witness, or have recieved no one would know that she's a very sad siren. Her world stopped when her parents died, and  worsened when her foster mother died. She's never talked to anyone about it, and tends to offend other sirens when they're going out to kill off sailors. Knowing they have families makes her upset with sirens, but knowing that they have to fight back makes her nervous. Zhen has built a wall around her world out of fear. Zhen sinks more into depression as each year passes, her world even though it's filled with amazing people, is lonely. She doesn't know how to interact with anyone and feels targeted when she messes up. She's fragile and it's often pointed out that she'll break if "you mess with her too much", feeding to her social anxiety and depressing her more.

When under a lot, and I mean a lot, of pressure Zhen's personality changes rapidly. She screams and fights back against who ever's pressuring her. Tears may stream down her face, but she's not sad she's scared. As she cools down she runs and jumps from hight points down into the ocean, swimming away until she calms down, this sometimes leads her to parts of the ocean she's not fimilar with.

Interests: Fire cooking foods, reading, and art from the human world fill Zhen's intrests. Human fashion doesn't capture Zhen like merfashion, the use of natural materials of the ocean. 

Background: At a young age Zhen lost her family to whale poachers leaving her all alone in the arctic ocean to survive. Zhen stayed close enough to humans to learn their habbits, on a stormy night she crawled a shore and waited for the humans to find her. When she was taken in by her foster family she learned to cook, read, and understand their feelings. Her foster mother gave her the name she currently has, she has no memory of her name before Zhen. Her foster mother was a nurse. She taught her human methods of healing. She saw the beautful parts of humans in her foster mother and the worst in her foster father. Fearing what he could do to her she never revealed where she came from or what she was.

After being with her foster family for a short time (to her. About 10 years) before returning to her ocean home. Zhen checked on her foster family until they passed of old age. Zhen travels back to the island on her foster mothers birthday, and death date (same day) giving her ocean treasurses. (Seashells and croal).

Living Quarters: Underwater: A sunken ship front,(only image I could find to show what I mean) with one room, bathroom, and closet just enough for her to sleep. Her grotto is her underwater get away hidden behind her small house, the only reason she occupied such a small living space, her grotto looks like a big undwater libary. Land House: Is a Tree house, near back of island, if she's not in the water she's in her tree house over looking the sea, it has kitchen/living room, a master bedroom, a guest bedroom, a sitting room, and two bathrooms. 

 

SAILOR BOY

Love Interest:  Kim Minseok "Xiumin"
Personality:  He has the face of a young man even though he's the oldest amonst the others. Xiumin is very soft spoken, and tends to watch people as they interact with eachother. When fights break out he doesn't get invovled all he stays back away from it. Letting the persons involved handle the situation rather then make it worse. Xiumin doesn't have a problem voiceing his opinion, he's just not heard amung the others louder voices. He tends to wait until someone asks him for his thoughts, input, and opinons on things because of his soft spoken nature. He's very adventurous and enjoys exploring. No one really notices when he dissapears.
Xiumin doesn't have a problem understanding anyones feelings. He's very kind and patient when someone is expressing their thoughts to him. He keeps their secrets when asked to not tell. Xiumin loves to eat new foods, and try new things. When he starts to fall for some one he get nervous around them, not that anyone could tell from his normal behavior, and he gives them little subtle hints by gifts or smiles. Xiumin doesn't tend to dislike or hate people but when he does his face tells all.

First Meeting: Upon the boat crashing on the island housing the girls everyone scrambled out in the commotion. As soon as Zhen saw Xiumin, laying there motionless, she knew she had to save him. She immediately got to his side, giving him CPR, after he coughed up the sea water,she spoke to him in a whisper, " Stay calm." Her voice calmed him as he sat up looking at her,"I want to help you. Just stay calm, and follow me. I know how to fix your wounds trust me." Their gaze never broke. Xiumin got up slowly with Zhen and followed her back to her home. 

Interaction: In the begining when Zhen,brought him to her house she felt safe, and had fallen for Xiumin before knowing his name. Zhen was friendly to him making him food, and healing his wounds with her powers with out his knowing it was her powers. However it didn't take long for Xiumin to notice she wasn't using any real mediacation to heal him. Xiumin was frigtened of this at first, but as Zhen explained that she wasn't evil, or a witch that he had accused her of, he became calmer. Until she told him she was a mermaid, he became fightened once more. Zhen told him her life story, from as far back as she could remember. Still weary of her being a siren, Xiumin started to understand her more. Xiumin eventually grew found of her, noticing she wasn't in the ocean as much realising she was safe to be around.  In the begining things were really awkward, Xiumin stayed often at her tree house enjoying her cooking and reading her books.When Zhen cooked his favorite dish he began having real feelings for her. They began baking together, and exploring around the island together. Sometimes she when she'd play her piano, or harp Xiumin would hum along. They grew very close. After Zhen's trip to give her foster mother her normal homemade trinkets, Xiumin realsized how much he'd truely fallen in love with her. Once she came back to her tree house Xiumin was playing the piano, and singing her a love song that confessed he'd fallen for her. Zhen was so moved by this act of love she asked if he wanted to see her grotto. Xiumin agreed to wanting to see it. Temporarliy giving him the ability to breathe under the water, she held his hand and led him into an underwater cave. Xiumin was facinatied by her collection. Zhen gave him her favorite piece in the collection, her fathers ring( something she had promised herself to only give to the man she truely loved) confessing she'd fallen for him too.

 

Back - up Love Interest:  Chanyeol

Personality:  Chanyeol is the happiest person you'd ever meet. He smiled a lot and likes seeing others happy, often he goes out of his way to make them happy. He's really kind to people helping them without being asked and lending a handed when ever he's needed. Chanyeol is child like too he likes playing aound and giving big eyed looks to get his way, if he can. He's a romantic kind of boyfriend, when with the girl he's in love with. He'll take her to her favorite place giving her all of ther favorites, food, flowers, anything she loves he'll give it to her. Chanyeol would give her the moon if she wanted it, if he could that is.

As nice as Chanyeol is he can be very rude, blunt, and even a little mean. When he doesn't like something, say burnt food, he'll tell you it's over cooked and you should do it again because it isn't fit to eat. If you insult him and he's in a bad mood he'll insult you right back, its a side effect of his childesh nature. He can't stand people who pretend to be okay, even when they're not. He drives out the truth no matter how long it takes or how mean he has to be. He doesn't mind hurting your feelings if it means you'll express them, being honest to their feelings.

First Meeting: After watching the other girls save the washed up boys Zhen looked around seeing what was left, she found a gold fork with wooden handel putting it in her bucket bag. "No," she heard a weak groan and a light touch on her ankel. It startled her a first seeing this long, pale boy holding on to her foot ever so gently. Quickly she kneeled down touching his forehead as he continued to groan. "stay still," she whispered healing him slightly, "here," she removed the broken pieces of the ship off of his back, "come with me," she helped him to his feet, "oh," he slupped over on her, " I'll fix you up at my place, and find you some new clothes." she felt nervous walking this tall boy back to her tree house, but she felt calm doing it at the same time.

Interaction: Once Zhen got Chanyeol into her house, not an easy task concedering he towers over her, she healed him mostly with her powers to get him to stop groaning. When he was more aware of his surrounds he messed with all of her trinkes all over the apartment. He played with the wooden figures she had on her bookshelf. It didn't bother Zhen in fact she enjoyed watching him entertain himself; Chanyeol liked hanging out in Zhen's tree house it was fun, even after leaving to be with his friends again he'd stay in the tree house over night. Zhen kept her true self a secret from Chanyeol scared that he wouldn't ever come back. When she finally got up the courage to tell him, he acted like he already knew he didn't change his habbits around her. What Zhen didn't know is taht Chanyeol really had already found out he followed her one right and watched her transform (the weekend she left to visit her foster mothers grave) it freaked him out he didn't understand at first but realised what she was. He didn't like it at first but when he realised that's why she must have kept it from him he started to accept it. By the time she told him he had accepted it fully and was happy she stopped keeping it from him.
When Chanyeol realised he was in love with her he set up a wonderful date night. He planned out a picnic under the stars. He made her favorite dish, a fruit bowl (something that he would be able to ruin.) He gave her the knife and spoon that matched the fork she found on the beach, and told her he had fallen in love with her. Zhen was overwhelmed at first then confessed she was in love with him too. Once they cleaned up from their date Zhen took Chanyeol to the beach giving him, temporarly, the ablitlity to breathe under water, taking him to her grotto. Once inside, just like before Chanyeol played with all the little trinkets. When he was finished playing around Zhen gave him the ring from her father, to him.

Any questions?  Because of her attactment to her foster mother, she would turn him into a siren (such a hard choice). And you asked if her voice charms people and it does just a little bit.
Scene requests?  Before/as he falls in love with her he teaches her how to dance, and/or One where he finds her singing to the stars, but isn't affected by her singing. (It doesn't entrance him because you know true love makes it impossible for him to be. or something)
