Why so frigging amazing? WHY?! I LOVED IT. Ok I'm not even gonna lie I cried watching it. It started and I just burst into tears. And each time Taeyeon came up I'd burst into tears, and same with Jessica, and Sunny, and Tiffany, and Hyoyeon, and Yuri, and Sooyoung, and Yoona, and Seohyun...

 

DADGUMMIT. They all looked so beautiful and the song and ugh.

I say this as a SONE since 2009-2010. I say this with complete honesty and out of love but that was not their best music video. Yes, I'm proud SM stepped out of their box and took a good whiff of the hospital room but I definitely saw way too much hospital floor and instruments. I wanted to see the girls more in their solo shots, in their group shots but whenever I did see them I COULDN'T SEE THEM. Darn effects. FU effects.

I now restate: I think I have to beat up the camera crew. 

 

Yes, I liked this video. It was definitely different. Definitely definitely different and unique. But the shots man. Who brought alcohol on set, mang?! 

 

Like when the dance break dropped I was thinking I'm about to start jamming to my Hyo's groove and yeah there it is. Mah gurls popping and swagging and then they jump at one point and I'm just like WHOA! THEIR SHOES LEFT THE FLOOR! THEIR SHOES NEVER LEAVE THE FLOOR IN THEIR CHOREOS.

 

but they did and that got me going~~~~

 

But then the dance break continues and suddenly its flashes to medical instruments and pink blood bags and IV drips of magenta poison that theyre gonna inject into the poor unsuspecting man (who obviously couldn't say no to them when they asked "Can we experiment on you?") and I'm like WHERE IS HYO?! WHAT JUST HAPPENED but I got over it and continued to enjoy the music video till the end.

 

Can I say though that undeground garage place dance scene was UGHHHHHH.... YUS. I drooled. It's just the music, and the voices and the Sonyeo and the ughhhhh combo and unf and YUS. 

 

Overall I love this song. I'm crazy for the album. Kinda having a love-hate thing with the music video. But this comeback I needed and appreciate to the max. God knows how much anxiety there was and not just on the fans ends but I'm sure on SNSD's as well.

 

I hope everyone appreciates it just as much as I did. The girls obviously worked very hard for this and despite all the setbacks and leaks and stuff I believe it doesn't matter now. The girls are back and I pray they dont get too exhausted this comeback and they do their best and show us genuine smiles all the while. Also looking forward to the revelation of whatever those NOW teasers were for ;)

 

The withdrawal symptoms had started to get stronger before all this.
