Self Respect

I have a croissant.

Anyway, what i was going to talk about.

It saddens me whenever I walk around the city to find girls wearing stockings and a t-shirt or hot pants with a crop top. This isn't a beach, this isn't a strip bar and nor is this a party. I find it naive that girls follow fashion from magazines and trends, what happened to finding yourself?

You say you don't want a guy to treat you like trash, yet you dress like it. You say you want respect but you don't act like you deserve it. Honestly, do people really think the more skin you show, defines how good you really are?

I wish I could live in the days where a dress was actually a dress, tops were worn with jeans or shorts and shorts were actually shorts, not underwear.

Ahhh, one can dream. When i finish studying Fashion Design, I'm going to try my best to make a change. Even if it only effects a few people, it's still a change. People need to start respecting themselves and loving themselves, they don't need to show excessive amounts of skin to look attractive. People need to stop wanting to look 'hot, y and pretty' and go back to looking genuinely beautiful, gorgeous and flawless in their own way.
