HARTEU HARTEU...nope. (aka My I'M-NOT RANTING-ON-VALENTINES-DAY-JUST BECAUSE-I-DON'T-HAVE-A-DATE Post)

I just realized that this might be the loneliest valentines I've had in years. OnO During my highschool days, valentines was celebrated with pink roses from guy friends, jail and wedding booths at the school grounds and cheesy anonymus love messages read aloud by a student emcee onstage for the entire campus to hear. Afternoon and evening classes are cancelled to make way for the annual valentine dance party where we ruin every lover's sweet moments with a choo-choo train across the floor during a slow number. Valentines during my College days were more toned down. There wouldn't be any parties or whatsoever (unless it falls on a Saturday like this. Then the council would schedule the yearly acquaintance party on the evening) since the day would be spent mulling over defences, homeworks and preparations for midterms. The evenings though, I would usually spend with my friends curled up on my bed pigging out on assorted snacks from chips to kimchi ramyuns with a litter of Mogu Mogu on the side. This year though, both of my buddies are spending valentines at work. And since I never really went out since I quit my job at the vet clinic (my new job is home-based), I'm here, all alone, watching multiple reruns of the Tom and Jerry Cartoon while downing my fifth mug of coffee. It's black unlike my usual creamy cup. No. I'm not bitter. It just so happened that I was up all night and my eyelids are as heavy as a pile of anvils now so I opted for something strong (I'm already thinking about chewing the beans themselves). I'll be having a post-valentine something tomorrow though. NOM will be having a concert at the City Gym and I already reserved the tickets for us. Anyway, that's enough ranting for today...considering that I shouldn't even rant at all today because today's supposed to be all about love and overly greasy cheese and bunnies and unicorns and farting hearts and--i'll shut up now. Happy valentines everyone. <3
