It seems I am forming a habit of writing impromptu prompt fills for my friends.

Note to self: stop the random prompt fills and finish the ones you started last year!!! /strangles

Fulfill My Dream; 321w

"Babe, you can't be serious."

"Why not? I want to marry you before I turn 25."

Junmyeon frowns. "That's less than two years from now! I'm pretty sure we're still promoting EXO then. Why can't we get married after the fame has passed?"

Kris narrows his eyes at his boyfriend. "Junmyeon, do you want us to get married?"

"O-of course! How can you ask me that?"

"Then believe me when I say if we wait for EXO's fame to pass then we'll never get married."

"You're exaggerating."

"I'm not." Kris sighs and wraps his arms around his lover. "Babe, I don't care if we're still EXO five... ten... twenty years from now. What I care about is having you as my husband. What I care about is knowing you're mine in the eyes of god and the law. What I care about is having the right to say you're mine."

Junmyeon's lip trembles as he tries to hold back tears. He whispers, "Yifan..."

"I love you, Kim Junmyeon. But I will never be satisfied as your lover. I want to be your husband. I want you to be mine in every sense of the word. I want you to bear my name because that means you're mine and we belong together. Just wearing couple rings is not enough. Touching you is not enough. I-I can't—"

Junmyeon silences Yifan with a kiss. Yifan tightens his hold on him as he tries to show what words alone cannot convey. Of how Kim Junmyeon is his everything.

Yifan separates himself from Junmyeon to give him a piercing stare. Slowly, without breaking eye contact, he goes down on one knee and takes hold of Junmyeon’s hands.

“Y-Yifan...”

“Fulfill my dream, Kim Junmyeon. Say you’ll marry me.”

Junmyeon lowers himself on his knees and falls into Yifan’s embrace. He whispers, "I love you. I'll marry you. Anytime, anywhere—let me be known as Wu Junmyeon."
